I took this class as a high school senior professor's not too bad, his lectures can get really boring but just take notes about the key concepts and you're bound to get an A. to be honest, i skipped countless sessions and just "crammed" before exams and got a high B.

Take notes. Miss one day, will miss out on a lot of info. Allows 2 full paper cheat sheets on every test. (But need notes to pass) Pretty easy to understand, just long and boring lectures. Dont need a textbook. Easy A. Says "ok" a lot.

He's lecture are boring & gets side track to talk about his life which isn't relevant to the lecture. No homework, 2 midterms (he averages both) & 1 final. Lets you have a 2 page cheat sheet for the midterms & finals. Must read the book to pass. I didn't read the book for the midterms but read the book for the final but still manage to pass.

Charles is a boring guy! He always sit behind the computer and talk for the whole class. His voice is always stable which makes his lecture very boring. 3 exams, 2 midterms and 1 finals only. His tests are quite hard, so reading textbook is necessary to get high scores though he gives you extra credits. If you want an easy A, he's not the guy!

Attendance is not Mandatory. There's no homework at all which is pretty cool, but as a result the tests seem much much harder. He spent 90% of the time talking about his business and his experience with Economics. SO his lectures were USELESS!! OMG soo boring! He's very nice and wants you to pass the class. but still wouldn't recommend.

Taking Anderson? Get used to using youtube... class is mainly about the specifics of data and not the how/why. Charles makes the subject over complicated, but can't explain it easily. As previous people have said, he sits in the corner and doesn't move... ever

Comment:
Charles Anderson is the worst professor I've taken. He spends 90% of the class period talking Obamacare or his career as an economist. His tests are hard and his lectures are ridiculously pathetic - he sits in the corner of the room behind the desk for, literally, the entire class period (he never stands up behind it). He's a terrible teacher.

He talks really slow which sometimes make you sleepy but he's very professional and knows the material really well. you can learn a lot from his industry experience which is way more useful than the book taught.

Gets off of topic, hard to understand but really nice and helpful! Makes the class easy for you to pass if you try. Read the book for sure! Look at his powerpoints. 2 midterms 4 pgs of notes allowed for both and more for final. Overall good but hard if you are not interested in economics. Very smart.

He's a good professor in terms of how he grades. No homework, no essays, 2 midterms and 1 final. 4 pages of notes on Midterms and more for final. You need the book! He is nice but doesn't teach well. You need to know economics really well in order to understand. I was able to understand him because I read the book and was very interested in econ.

Had him for Macro and Micro & enjoyed his class although hard. Only reading homework & all tests are straight from the book and lectures. He gets off topic with stories which I found interesting and funny. If you read the book & go to class you'll do fine. He allows notes for tests and gives extra credit! To get a B all you need is a 77%..an A 88%!

its not hard to pass but he is the worst. never focused on topic. talked about how smart he was and how much money he made. On day 1 he said "the dean is not my boss if you want to complain too bad" "I have been here so long I don't have to worry about student evaluations, they mean nothing to me"

Ok Professor, Tests are hard - you need to know the subject very well, but he gives extra credit and 2 sheets of hand written notes are allowed that helps a lot. Lots of extra credit. B is very easy to get.

I usually give people the bebefit of the doubt, but this instructor is the worst ever. The first impression of his teaching method the first week of school is not pleasant. He does not know how to teach. He does not want to teach. He does not even teach. Don't bother to ask question because he doesn't like students to ask questions. Stay away!!!

He an awful teacher and he really needs to retire because he has forgotten how to teach econ.He only favors certain students and he not very helpful. He has no life that is why he just talk about the President and why he hates him. He is a only man and he is very hateful to anyone who does not agree with his opinions which are not related to econ.
