Egotistical doesn't even cut the half of it. Apparently it's fine to use your laptop or phone in class but god forbid anything else. He talks like he is the center of the universe and no one can prove him differently. Class has no structure other than his "look at me!!!" life stories and tangents. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy.

Professor Stanish lectures are not helpful. Majority of lecture slides are irrelevant when it comes to the exam. You should focus on the articles. Its worth more your time than paying too much attention to his lecture.

Stanish was a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic and can tell when students begin to get reckless and he'll change it up with some relevant stories in his life. Read the articles and understand the main concepts. Also come to class, most of the stuff on the tests are in his lectures. They are not hard concepts but study!

this class is easy but the prof is an egotistical & condescending blowhard who lets his ego come before professionalism. he often has a temper tantrum if people talk during class. sure, these people aren't supposed to be talking, but since most of the class doesn't even notice, his public scolding is far more disruptive than those people talking.
