This professor is definitely one of my fave at CSUF. Engaging, caring, and hilarious if you have a sense of humor and not easily offended. The exams are not a breeze but if you do well in other assignments, an A is def in your hand. I coulda had an A if I did push myself just a lil harder. On top of that, huge extra credit opportunities. Take him!

I'm so glad I took Prof. Kohli for MKTG351. His lectures cut straight to the point as to what's going to be on the exams, and he adds a lot of humor to keep it interesting. 3 exams, 1 group project, pop quizzes, and various online assignments. An A is definitely doable if you attend lecture, pay attention, and keep up with the homework.

I really enjoyed this class and feel like this professor was awesome. He made the material fun, engaging, and interesting. The professor was very considerate and even with a large class size he always made himself accessible through email, in person, before or after class. I recommend this professor.

As an international student I found this class challenging. This is the toughest class you'll ever take but trust me you'll learn a lot of things that are useful in the real world. The professor is hilarious which makes the class somewhat enjoyable. I highly recommend him.

By far the hardest class I have taken my entire college career. However, this was also by far the most meaningful and insightful class that I have ever taken. He is a tough grader and will pick on you to participate. If you aren't afraid to challenge yourself, this is definitely the class for you. He is intimidating at time but it's w/ good intent.

Kohli's 489 was probably one of the most hardest, but, most rewarding classes of my college career. There's a lot of case briefs so brace yourself and basically 2 big group projects (choose a good group). If you're looking for a chill 489, I don't recommend Kohli. However, if you want a teacher that will challenge you, then take his class.

Not going to lie, on the first day of class I was scared of Kohli. He is one of the toughest professors out there. He will challenge you and make you think on the spot. But he is also very funny and can crack a joke. He is only scary the first few weeks then he becomes one of the best professors! so don't let him scare you off.

I took Kohli for 489 because I had taken him for 351 and he inspired me to pursue marketing as a career. Hes hilarious and knows his stuff. His 489 class was tough, but manageable. He has high expectations, and ultimately wants the best for his students. 489 was very discussion based and there was 0 exams. Hes funny and at times inspirational.

If you have a fear of public speaking, you have 4 oral presentations!! Hes very tough the first day, but its just to scare you. He slowly lets off at the end of the semester. But you have a case due EVERY MONDAY MORNING. Then its just one group after another presenting. Take it what you will. But Kohlis is a beast, but knows how to crack a joke

He went off lecture EVERY class time and forced us to stay after class time was over by saying "This will be on the exam." He says he cares about his students, but then rudely says "no" if a student answers a q incorrectly. He told us not to ask him for help with the project and proceeded to grade harshly. Pop quizzes are a PAIN! Take someone else!

He's a great professor but he made us buy this expensive online book that was actually just short video clips that we didn't really have to watch, and wasn't worth the money. Very knowledgable guy though. Definitely likes to maintain this "I'm a cool guy" persona. and POP QUIZZES

Honestly, I just have taken this class and may I say that it was an amazing class. The instructor makes class super funny while still being able to teach the fundamentals of marketing. He also goes out of his way to schedule guest lectures and ask students for feedback after for his other future classes. An inspirational professor for students.

This is a difficult class, however He makes the class entertaining and easy to understand. Yes he has guest lectures BUT he ALWAYS asks what did you guys think about it? Should I invite him/her again?. He cares about students in a more personal level, outside the classroom. He talks about other more personal subjects. Great professor!

Not the best prof. Thought his lectures were scattered and unorganized not prepping you for well for the exam. Constantly didn't finish lectures & kept us after class which seemed unprofessional. Pop-quizzes were a pain & are given even if he hasn't lectured yet. His videos prep you for tests and in class he gives chapter review questions.

Professor Kohli's class was one of the best and most rewarding classes I've taken. The class isn't easy (tough grading) and you will definitely have to work for it, but it is worth it! There aren't lectures, but discussions / debates that push you to think. He is incredibly intelligent & funny and teaches you so much. Take him if you can :)

This was by far my favorite class yet at CSUF. I took Kohli's class over the summer, and I actually looked forward to coming to class at 8am. He is tough but you learn so much and he is an amazing professor. The discussions are great. I was sad I didn't get to enjoy his class for the full 16 weeks. I recommend taking him, best professor I've had!!

The hardest class I've taken but probably learned more with him than I have in 4 years. I'm one of those students that just got by in school, but somehow he's motivated me to try my hardest because I'm enjoying the class a lot. Pretty tough on grading, but gives really good feedback. He's hilarious, and the time just flies. Really love this guy.
