I took this course online. You have to complete around 14 modules and read an online textbook. While the modules are time-consuming, the teacher grades easily as I received 100 on every module for only writing one paragraph per question. You also have to post on the discussion board 10 times. Not the most exciting class but the teacher is nice!

Online version of this class is very manageable workload. Every week watch the video lectures she uploads, read short chapter, engage in discussion board & respond to a classmate. One project at the end of class 10 page paper. She helps you pick topic very clearly laid out. Lets you make up missing work. Amazing teacher with amazing attitude.

Easy A if you do all the work. No test. Just online quizzes &online discussions. You need the book for the quizzes. 1 final paper but as long as you use her format and answer the questions you will be fine. It could be boring class but I really learned a lot and would take her again. Use the book for the quizzes. You will find what you need.

Professor Von Mayrhauser is an awesome person. I never had the opportunity to meet her, but she was very engaged in our online class. It was an interesting class to take, and it knocks out a GE. During the summer the class consisted of 6 discussions, 6 quizes, 5 projects from the textbook you wish to do, and a final portfolio.

Professor Von Mayrhauser is such a sweet and caring lady. Her class is easy to pass, with just a bit of effort. If you're interested in anthropology or it's your major, then you'll love the class and you'll learn so much from her. Otherwise, (not her fault) the material is boring. Overall, she's a great teacher and I highly recommend her.

Professor Von M. is great. Her lectures relate to real life and you learn about interacting with people from an anthropologist perspective. She adores her job and gives a lot of real life examples. She means well, and I like that she doesn't teach straight from the book. She wants you to pass so let me her help you, ask questions, and take notes.

1 Midterm, 1 Final, and a Project Portfolio which comes from the projects in the textbook. She is so kind and sweet, and only hopes to change students perspectives on language in every daily life. The lectures could be very boring, but the class is really easy to pass. She literally gave us the answers to the multiple choice on the MT and F exams.

Professor von M. is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She honestly cares about her student, which is something I can't say for many professors. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about her field, and shares her insights with us freely. With that being said, her lectures are very dry. I had a hard time staying awake. Very easy though.

Professor Von Mayrhauser is literally the sweetest instructor I've met at CSUN thus far. She reminded me of a fairy godmother! She genuinely cares about her students and their success. She is kind of all over the place as far as lectures go but she is super smart and she picks up on things even though you may not think so.

VERY easy class to pass, even if you don't show up and I went to every class. All tests basically come from the book and the book has all the answers. Three tests, one final paper, all easy. However, the class is INCREDIBLY boring. She's very sweet and tries to make it entertaining, but it's really boring when you don't care.

She is an amazing professor, you can really tell she wants you to know the material. 1 midterm, 3 papers and the final. She basically gives you all the answers in class that you'll need for the midterm and final. The papers are easy as well because she gives you many ideas to write about. However, her lectures are really long and can be boring.

This professor is exactly what college professors should be like. She was understanding, and clarified things that were difficult. If you show up the lecture before the test, she basically gives you the questions. You'll still have to do some reading, and some studying for the essays but they're pretty straight forward. Encourages discussion.
