Comment:

When he teaches, I feel inspired because he tries to show how it relates to the real world and why it's important. I took him a few semesters ago and he is still one of my favorite math professors. A lot of people may not like that he doesn't assign homework, but I do. Since we are in college, I feel that professor should not have to baby sit us.

Comment:

Very horrible professor, will not provide help, only direct students to math lab. Only provides 7 test. Professor told students on the first day he will have half the class drop before the withdrawal deadline like it was a personal goal. I know what the reviews say I checked ahead not accurate. Professor says you dont need math book, you do.

I took this professor because of his reviews but I was highly disappointed. There are 7 test and no homework. He says that you don't need the book, but you do. His study guides are unclear and don't outline the test. I wouldn't recommend if you are not good at Math. I am a A&B student and I passed his class with a C.

Comment:

Mr. Jadonath is a great teacher, if you go to every class and participate you should be fine. If you don't understand something you can ask him after class and he will explain it to you, very patiently. His grading is based on about 7 tests so make sure to do EVERY study guide he e-mails you before the test for a guaranteed passing grade!

Warning, do not take unless you are very good at math. His study guides are not study guides. His teaching are not clear and precise he tends to jump all over the chapter when teaching which causes confusion. He is almost never available for help and not approachable. High percentage of class dropped. Took class with different prof and got an A.

Don't take this class. You have seven test and no other work. If you are not a good test taker you will not pass. His test are extremely hard. Some of the material on the test he had never gone over in class. Majority Of the students in my class dropped. His study guides do not help, because it doesn't show you what is going to be on the test.

Don't take this class if you are not good at math. His test are extremely hard, but he does give bonus questions. The lectures are pretty fast and you basically teach yourself. His study guides aren't similar to the test. The study guide basically says you need to know this for test. A lot of the material on the study guide is not on test.

The professor definitely knows his stuff. Teaches everything so easy. Take good notes of his examples. The study guides, are the test, if you can do everything in there you will do great. No homework required. But the more you practice the better you will be. Built in extra credit in every test to help you out. The final exam is accumulative.

His tests are an exact replica of the study guides. Don't even have to bother going to class if you know the information on the study guide. He gives so many bonus points for people who just do what they're supposed to. I have a 97 in the class, and my last score was a 116% if that tells you anything. (and I hate math). I love Mr. J!!

There are 6 test including the final. There is no homework but if you go to class it is an easy A. He is very good at explaining new concepts and gives a lot of extra credit on the test. He gives a study guide with all the answers and the test are very similar. This class was a breeze.

He repeats himself a lot, hence the clarity. He makes sure you'll understand what the topic is, and often refers back to previous lectures. There are 5 tests, no homework. The tests are taken from the study guides he provides. Do the study guides, get an A. I have an A.

The fact that im taking another class he teaches pretty much explains it all. He is a great math teacher, fast paced, but has a great sense of humor that keeps your attention. As long as you attend every class , take great notes and pay attention, theres no way you could receive lower than a B.

Best Teacher!! he shows logic behind simple math functions which I never thought existed before. He made learning simple and easy and spends extra time even after the class to make sure his students understand the concepts. I wish I can get his for all my other math classes. Plus, he gives no HW and lots of extra credits in quizzes.

I HATE math. I was really dreading this class but am so glad I took it. Study guides are key. If you go over them and show up for class (even though attendance isn't mandatory) you'll pass. I got in A in the class. There's a ton of extra credit on each test. No homework or quizzes, only 7 tests (including the final). Take him if you can!

GREAT TEACHER!! Looking for an easy A, this is the class. He does not give homework but expects you to do the lab work and the lab homework. I did not use the book all semester and got an A. No need for the book as long as you do the lab. He explains everything in detail. I wish he taught College Algebra because I would definitely take him again.
