This class ruined my GPA due to the fact that professor Kreniske was ill the entire semester and taught nothing when he was actually on campus. Professor Daniels took over his class at the last week of school and assigned a Mid Term IN THE LAST WEEK ON TOP OF ALL OF THE OTHER WORK THAT HAD TO BE DONE!!!!!!! This class ruined my spring semester!

NEVER EVER EVER TAKE THIS PROFFESSOR. HE'S HORRIBLE! He missed 10 classes so far and is extremely unfair. Gives assignments without teaching them. He's very rude and thinks it's okay to talk badly about people. Worst teacher I have ever had. Never even tries to teach us. He's bringing us down with him. I regret taking him.

This man was never in class....He misses class all the time. At the time I am typing this I have a mid term the following day. I have no knowledge of what is on the test because we spend the class listening to his tangents on everything BUT the subject matter!!!!!!

worst teacher i have ever had in all of my career at hofstra. i hate him more than any teacher i ever had. doesn't teach and makes inappropriate comments. expects way too much out of his students without even teaching us the info. Avoid this man like the plague!

john is a great teacher for students who are willing to sit back and learn without the formalities of a typical classroom experience. yeah, he's always sick...bc he's been around the world doing field work and picked up tons of crazy things along the way. take his class.

So he knows his stuff. Tells alot of stories. Says alot of uncomfortable jokes. Is always sick. Such an Anti American lsuper duper liberla I'm so suprised he's still in this country. Doesn't have a "real" syllabus. He's really smart but he kinda talks over ur head. . . hard to actually "learn" nething . . . but fairly laid back class. good luck.

Kreniske is clueless, unorganized, impossible to communicate with, and unclear. Took him for the anthro senior thesis class and learned absolutely nothing. I ended up asking the other anthro professors for help because his feedback was meaningless. Not sure how his other classes are but this one was a disaster. Stay away!

He is sooooo smart. Knows the stuff like the back of his hand but has a tough time explaining it. You need to be quick with him. He hardly ever gives an A so don't expect one. But overall a nice guy...and he is willing to work so you can do well.
