She is in her own little world.. Can't wait to get to Florida for the winter. She needs to retire. However, she is a very helpful teacher and goes out of her way to help students. Stickler about practicals so practice your skills and test out early if you can.

Comment:

Good teacher. Stayed an hour after class to help some of us. Lectures are more about experiences related to subject content , so you must read the book. No study guide for the final but she will tell you what chapters are on the test. Final was tricky . My only disappointment was I didn't do as well on the final as I thought.

Helpful but hard & confusing class. She was grumpy throughout the semester up until near the end. Tests were mostly off the lecture...don't spend too much time on getting information out of the book to study like she suggests..attendance is important and she's also nice on staying after class to help if needed

Had her for CPR and she makes this class harder than it has to be. However since you get points for showing up and the tests are very easy bc she tells you whats going to be on it, its a relatively easy A. That being said, her syllabus fall apart because of her lack of organization, and because of her obsession with practicals. Overall she was OK

Wonderful professor who takes her work seriously. She teaches at a few different colleges and does a great job managing all of them. All respect to her for doing such a fine job with so many students. Come to class pay attention to everything she says and you should easily get an A. Attendance is very important!

If you study what she tells you to study, practice the skills, come to class, and take the class seriously, you will do well. She is very nice and will help you work on your skills, telling you what you did wrong and will help you improve, even giving you time outside of class to come and work on it. She is very fair and knows her stuff.

She is nice enough person but she is not a good instructor in any way shape or form. Definitely need to know your stuff to pass the practicals. The written tests are no problem if you go to class. I would not recommend this person for any classes due to her teaching style and methods.

Good teacher, if you really want to learn First Aid take her. If you're just looking for an easy A look elsewhere. The class isnt hard but on the practicals she's very thorough. You dont need the book just come to class and take good notes. Missing too much class will affect your grade she actually reports it
