This professor is hands down the best professor at Buffalo State College. He is hilarious and genuinely cares about each student. When I took his classes it struck me how honest, how caring, and how genuine he is in his own skin. I highly recommend Dr. Blum to all students.

Great teacher, I highly recommend him, he has a very good approach to teaching and seems very natural in his position as a teacher. Seems to genuinely care about the welfare and grades of each individual student and helps everyone become the best they can be, academically and personally.

I was in a small class with other first year history majors. Lectures/class is mandatory!!! Attendance is taken and if you miss class you miss so much content. But you wont want to miss his class because this man is hilarious. Im excited to take another class with him. Hes great! Also remember to take online quizzes. I forgot and got a C+

I absolutely LOVE him so much!!! seriously the best professor ever. I had him freshmen year first semester in his mastering the academic class, and I took him again for his history classes. going to be taking another one of his classes. never had homework, just come to the lectures because he goes over a lot of material. if you can take him do it!!

Professor Blum is the BEST professor at Buff State hands down. He makes history easy to understand and makes it interesting, making you want to learn more. He made me consider changing my major to history just from this one class. If I could take all my classes with him I totally would. Super funny and super easy to talk to! Highly reccommend

Professor Blum really made me enjoy History which is difficult to do as I am not naturally interested. I loved his class and the way he taught and organized the lectures! I recommend him highly and he is a very fair grader!

Only graded on tests. Multiple choice and short answer. If you dont buy the book, you can still pass if you take good notes on his lectures. Hes extremely funny and moves around. Keeps you in tune. I loved this class so much I considered changing my major to history. Wish I can have him for other classes. 10/10.

Blum is honestly the best professor. He cares about you and makes every class interesting. He honestly loves what he teaches. Attendance is MANDATORY and if you're late it counts as an absence. Chapter quizzes and midterm/final super easy. All-in-all super easy and fun class. Recommend to all freshman to get yourself together for college.

Mr. Blum is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is funny and engaging. He is well prepared for class and knows how to spark in class conversation to get all students involved. He helps students step out of their comfort zone. He does not require much work and will get you a passing grade as long as you attend class.

Fantastic teacher who truly wishes the best for his students. He's really blunt and is not afraid to poke fun at anyone, so if your sensitive his style might not be for you. However, don't mistake him for rude, very perceptive and enjoys solving peoples college woes. Would and hopefully will take again.
