Took him for both gen and dev psych. I like him a lot. He loves the subject and is really helpful. Test questions can be hard, but I think he uses a test bank. If you read the material and do the practice questions, you will be familiar with the style of questions asked. Gives a lot of opportunity to make up a grade if you just blow one exam.

Nice guy, funny at times, not as easy as people say he is. I'm pretty sure he just uses tests that are supplied by the department rather than making his own tests. If you don't get the book and study THE BOOK, chances are you won't get an A. He talks about things that are interesting to him but a lot of times irrelevant to the test.

great teacher very understandable took him for both general psych and developmental psych he gives you the opportunity to make up missed assignments he was a very great teacher i would recommend him but you must read the book to pass the test but if your not a got test taker you can still get a good grade with passing the other assignments

He is a fun professor and let's you out of class early most days but I learned more from the book than from him. Quizzes are done at home. No writing in this class. You really MUST read the chapters thoroughly. His test ?'s are sometimes an obscure fact rather than key concepts. I was so interested in this class and upset that I couldn't learn more

He is a great teacher. Losts of exams online and class, need to read the book inside out! Attendence and participation helps the grade. He is a exellent person enjoyed his class. If you ok about no study guide and read the whole book, do it! If you have hard time remember details from the book...be careful! But if you there everyday he will help !

He is a good guy and will make the class suck less but his test do go into some detail so remeber to read and re-read the chapters. also I took him for a flew class which is a bad idea. we cover 16 wks worth of matterial in 7 weeks which made the course load aliitle tough if you have other classes all and all he better than other professors at VCC

Easy class. Test are usually two chapters, one chapter is done in class and the other chapter is a take home test. Make sure you study for the class test. He expects you to complete some quizzes online which are really eassy. He if very nice and teaches a lot.

Took his Deveolpmental Psych class. Test are extremely hard!!! But he does allow you to use your book and they are take home most of the time. Very laid back. Big on attendance! I had a B avg on my test and still got an A due to attedance. If you want an A take him!

Professor Hancock is a great guy his quizzes are 33% take home quizzes are another 33%.I would definitely recommend taking him, also his notes are easy to understand and if you read your notes you will do fine in his class.

Very interesting professor, class is defiantly not boring. Test are VERY HARD, but some are open book, or take home. Quizzes are online and easy. Just use the book. By the way, you NEED to book. Test are only 1/3 of your grade. I had a "D" avg for test and got a "B" overall. Come to class and you will pass. Nice Guy.

Yo dude what?s your deal, you're so off base about professor Hancock. You make him sound like a perv. He is totally awesome and shows that he cares about u. He teaches psychology and life and then takes time to talk to u about u. He has never turned me away and I?m a guy. So get a life. I say take every class you?ll see,dude is mad cool.
