Comment:

This is possibly the most unorganized class ever created-makes learning impossible. He has no idea what he wants, so neither does anyone in the class or the TAs. Constantly contradicts instructions he gives you and can't answer simple yes/no questions consistently. No instructions on how to do the labs or how to correctly create reports.

Comment:

I got A's in both of his classes and did not hate him--neither did any of my team memberswho all got A's(except one guy got a B in on of the sections). He was extremely clear in his "minimum report requirements given for each lab. If anyone actually accomplished them they would be guaranteed an A. You can ask for much more can you?

Those two good ratings must be plants or Mills has changed considerably since I graduated because when I took him, even the students who were making A's hated him. He is very unclear and confusing in what is required of the class. He doesn't tell you the grade scale and almost never gives you a straight answer even when you ask a direct question

Dave Mills is the man! He explains the material clearly and is very helpful if you have questions. If you don't like him then you must be a poor student. He also can ride bicycles very fast--So fast he gets speeding tickets on the interstate.

He is challenging, but fair. If you are a good student, and do your work, you will do fine in his classes. He doesn't have tolerance for lazy kids who never thought they had to work to get an A. So what? you wanted to be a chemical engineer, right
