David Lee is a very funny guy that will tell you like it is. Only 2 grades all semester. Midterm exam and Final exam. Very easy grader. I never read the book and passed exams with an A. Basically tells you he does not expect you to come to class.

I enjoyed Professor Lee's class. In fact, it was my favorite class this Spring. He made the history class interesting & amusing. I learned more from him compared to the other two previous history profs. Definitely study but then you should be able do well on the exams. I would take more gen. ed classes from him if I needed the credit.

specific information you NEED to know: 10 page paper over a topic of you choice (DON'T PROCRASTINATE), 3 in class essays that consist of 4-5 questions (one of the questions is a make-your-own-question), Lee is very vague during lecture, final is a take home essay, Lee does not use email/blackboard, read the textbook hands down, keep up with class.

He is a really cool and hilarious guy, but this class is miserable. Very vague with his information and expectations. He's given us a 10-page essay and a take-home final essay, both of which are a lot more complicated than what they should be for a gen-ed class. Class isn't on blackboard at all and he doesn't use or answer emails whatsoever.

He's hilarious. His tests are 1 essay. He gives you like 4 to choose from and then one is "Write your own question and answer it with as many examples as possible." He doesn't tell you anything about the test beforehand though so it can be a little stressful. The worst part of the class is a 10 pg paper. There is no need for that in a gen ed class

Loved the class! He is a hilarious teacher, very engaging, and really down-to-earth. The only disappointing thing was that a lot of the other students seemed to have little/no interest in what he was teaching, which made me feel bad because I really loved his class.

Hilarious guy! This class is not hard at all if you study! You do not have to go to class, but he claims that if he sees you in class, he will boost your grade up if your on the verge of a letter grade. Tests are easy. He writes 4 questions on the board and you pick one to write an in class essay on. Take notes on the textbook and you'll do fine.

Yes, this teacher may have a sense of humor but he is awful! I had him at Chatt State AND UTC. BIG MISTAKE! I counted down the minutes till class was over. Somewhat monotone, likes history but doesn't like communication. Would zip in/out of class avoiding questions from students. Emails are out of the question, does nothing online, waste of time

Loved the lecture and his test were not too hard. Several essay questions that you selected from. He also required two book reports. Very sarcastic, if you are use to wearing ear muffs you might be offended. Take him if you are a history student.

"I have an idea for an old folks home based on meth labs."-Lee What a great teacher, funny, knowledgeable, and approachable. I enjoyed every second of his class. He will never see these rating though, because to him, computers are the devil's work. Go in ready to write down some great quotes from the man. Highly recommended by me.

He has the best sense of humor I have ever seen in a professor and also gives really fun lectures. The problem with him is that he has no methodology to his grading for upper division and it seems like he pulls a bunch of B grades out of a tophat gives them out randomly to his students. He is a good teacher, but he seems so burned out on history.

At first, I hated Prof. Lee. But now after taking 3 courses w/him and a few from other history teachers, I think he has a lot to offer his students. He doesn't expect you to just memorize what he says. He expects you to form an argument. His lectures are engaging and he often lets night classes out early. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Lee is a humorous man, someone that I certainly enjoyed having in class. It was hard, though. I made a 92 on my midterm and still ended up with a B at the end of the semester. You have two 6-8 page papers and a take-home final that are all due on the last day of class. Plus, we had to do a presentation on a county in TN. He was hard- I ser

He is NOT the worst Hist teacher in the world. Having taken 3 classes from him, I can say what he IS... He is a nice guy, there will be reading on your part, A's are attainable, he's not the most difficult teacher ever but you will work for your grade, he's funny, flexible and loves history. See my rating below for further info.

I made A's in all 3 HIST classes I took from him. He does teach in short hand, you WILL need a book. Lectures only give high points. You WILL need to fill in the blanks with reading. He's a nice guy, laid back, funny & flexible. NOT into technology (no black board, e-mail, p.p., etc...) He ALWAYS lets night classes out early - But not day classes!

Worst history teacher alive. Doesn't care about actually TEACHING. His tests demand indepth essays on subjects that sometimes he doesn't even teach about. There is no way to know what to study for. Impossible to make an A. I used to LOVE history he ruined it. He reads out of the text book and doesn't bother to help you if you are confused.

Too sarcastic. Has a chip on his shoulder. Should be teaching at a community college and not a university. Jokes about Red Bank are funny though.
