Comment:

10/10 would recommend. He will do everything in his power to make sure you understand the material. While attendance is optional, still show up, there are some days that he took attendance because he gave spontaneous extra credit assignments for those who showed up to class.

Comment:

Many of my peers said that MATH1920 is one of the harder Calculus classes, but it felt like a breeze. Everything is explained well, great examples, and gives good study guides for tests. There is Webassign homework, but not that much for a 4 credit hour class.

Comment:

Dr. Menser is obviously knowledgable in the subject matter but he presents it in a way where you don't feel belittled. He is very helpful in explaining things and I could not count how many times I have knocked on his door and he as answered my questions about the problems. Gives excellent reviews that are way harder than the test.

He was super laid back. Gave extra credit and has notes already made for you which was awesome! He's super funny and laid back. Definitely recommend taking him.

He is an excellent professor. I made a C in Calculus II, but thanks to Dr. Menser, I think I can make an A in Calculus III. AND IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS SINCE I TOOK CALCULUS II. He really helps you learn the material. Do not settle for anyone else.

He is a good teacher overall but be warned. He takes FOREVER to grade tests. You have to remind him, but in short, he will make sure you understand the material. He gives out notes and study guides as well.

Excellent profossor!!! In my 4 years in college, he is on a very short list of one the best college professors I have ever had the privilege to study under. Very well structured class room. Fair expectations. Very eager to offer help when needed. Every quizexam is virtually the same as review. Simply the best!!!

Basically just show up to class. Never took calculus before, don't like math that much but he explains it well. You can get an easy A if you show up to class everyday. Which is hard since its at 8 a.m. in the morning and attendance is not required.

He is very nice, the class is extremely easy, and he offers extra credit. Never use the textbook until calculus III, so don't get it. But overall the class is wonderful and I loved it!

Wow!I usually have to work on the homework and really try in my math classes but he did such an amazing job teaching that when I left I actually understood the concepts and didn't have to teach myself from the book. BEST math class ever! I will definitely be taking Menser for the rest of my math courses here.

Very experienced professor. Takes time to answer all questions and review material as much as needed. He truly wants everyone to understand. Towards the end the class had to make up material so content was covered quickly, but through most of the class we were very relaxed. Lots of study guides and tells you exactly what he expects.

This professor is amazing!! He honestly loves math and you can tell from his teaching style. He wants to make sure you really understand it and he will not go on to the next point until you do. I love this professor and I hate math. He makes it easy to understand and gives tons of extra credit, he writes his own tests and his homework is all online

Dr. Menser is an AMAZING professor!! He loves what he does and he will spend an entire class period going over homework questions if you need him to. When it comes to his quizzes after you are done you can compare your answers with the solutions before you turn your quiz in. I strongly recommend choosing classes he teaches, I know I will.

His class is great fun. He has a lot of jokes and makes class interesting. He is great at explaining math and will answer any questions you have. He gives all of the homework ahead of time and gives you a month to do it which is great if you have a lot of classes or work. Tests are easy too. I recommend him.

Menser is a nice guy but that is the problem. I tried so many times to ask questions but the class would answer which was really annoying. He couldn't stand up to the student and run his own class. His hand writing is horrible and his test are ok but if you want the teacher to teach go somewhere else.

One of my favorite teachers. He knows his stuff and can explain it clearly. I recomend him to anyone.
