Read the book, dont show up to class. She is nice but i learned more in a clearer fashion just reading the book. Office hours didnt help, take anybody else.

She's a decent professor but almost all the homework she assigns aren't like the examples we do in class. I do all my homework and fail half of it. She's only helpful if she knows you and you yank the information out of her.

a pretty tough class, exams were quite difficult b/c its not straight in your face exactly what learned in class, need to think about how it relates. but shes SO clear with her lectures, comes up with REALLY GOOD analogies. always in her office and always helpful espeically if u come in prepared. if u go to office hours, an A is very possible

Flexible with appointments.No HW but has 5 quizes.Tests hard;only 3 pgs but each question is worth alot of pts,even multiple choices so losing pts is easy.Does give partial credit but only a few pts. Does give a curve.Powerpts are only of examples;in class examples easy but questions on tests were very hard.Nice Professor though.

Lectures are all examples and doesn't give the general rule. Office hours are somewhat helpful but when you ask a question, she makes you feel dumb most of the time. She definitely has favorites.

She isn't very clear as a teacher; her tests are hard but she does give a nice curve. She's an extremely nice lady but I wouldn't recommend her as a teacher... just too hard to follow and gives hard tests.

Comment:

Lectures are really clear and engaging. Tests are really hard and you have to do a lot of problems on your own. Not very flexible with exam or quiz dates, so prepare to plan your life around this class. Cool, down to earth person. Really made me love organic chemistry and I'm kind of sad its over.

If an honors class ever averages a 55% on a test, you know theres something wrong. Her teaching style is mostly skimming and she expects you to suppliment this with extensive practice and reading, at least if you want a good grade. She gives a lot of partial credit, and expect to see a lot of this, as you wont be seeing much full credit.Good Luck
