Dowdy is conceited and will make it his purpose to make you feel stupid. He tore my pages apart looking for mistakes after I corrected his grading one time. And purposely looked for reasons to drop me so I would not graudate. The semester is not over yet but I currently have a B in his class. He will more than likely cost me my 4.0 my last semester

Prof. Dowdy means well, but comes across very conceded. He is not very clear on the material, because he himself doesn't understand all of it. You will find yourself looking for answers from other sources. He will occasionally answer a problem incorrectly compared to the answer key. If you correct him, he will argue his point, wrong or right.

I leave class everyday feeling stupid. He doesn't work problems out on the board he has you partner up to see if they got the same answers. You ask him a simple questions & he doesn't give simple answers. VERY hard of hearing. Doesn't require book it's optional and online which I hate! My least favorite instructor and highly don't recommend!

Very fun class! Awesome instructor; he carefully explains without becoming boring. Teaches with hands-on opportunities which "shows you" vs. tells you. Much interesting info over nuclear fusion, fossils, magnetism, stars, etc, etc. Lots of fun hands-on lab. One of my favorite classes!

If you want to learn how things work, like techtonics, TAKE THIS CLASS. He knows his science. It is not easy for a reason: School is hard, poverty is harder! A very interesting class with lots of hands on experiments.

This is the greatest teacher on earth. This class is easy, but time consuming when it comes to studying for the test. The test are all essay, and you must include all points and provided the extra details in your essay. It is possible to make A’s even 100 on all the test. I did!
