PLEASE CONSIDER SOMEONE ELSE. Will make you feel dumb for asking a question. Lectures are useless, he just derives formulas, rarely looks at example problems. He does not hand-back tests so you cannot see why you got the grade you did. You will practically be learning from anything BUT him. I neglected the reviews and had a bad experience.

literally the worst professor ive ever had. He just derives equations in lecture and expects you to know how to use them. The hw is impossible without youtube or chegg and he makes you feel like an idiot if you ask a question

If you get this professor for your lab, good luck, he does not explain the labs and barely offers help. The final is terrible, 30+ conceptual questions and you get 0 formulas, even though the other labs get formula sheets, the final was pretty much a guessing game.

He's definitely as bad as everyone says. I passed the class, but still struggle with basic physics in my dynamics class because I didn't learn anything from Wanser. Seriously, don't take him unless you're already a physics genius.

He is really knowledgeable/loves physics, but his way of teaching just is not very clear. His lectures would be much better if he gave actual examples with real numbers instead of deriving equations. His exams are super hard and you definitely need to read the book. You need the homework/weekly online quizzes to pass. But the curve is huge (60%)

He is a Young Earth Creationist, and you can find his "Answers in Genesis" manifesto by doing a simple google search. I can't respect a science teach that outright ignores science consensus. Class lectures were hard to follow since he would block the white board when deriving equations. If you miss an online quiz it is impossible to get an A.

If you are unlucky enough to have him your better off not asking questions about the labs because he will just say "Well, what does it say in the lab". I suggest that you take the class with a friend or someone that you know will do their fair share on the labs. The final is 100 times harder than the physics final, so don't even bother studying.

Had him for physics 225 Lab, and anyone can pass with a C or better. He can be rude to students, but get in his good side by asking questions and having conversation with him. Heard his lecture isnt so good, and that you dont learn much physics. Recommend another teacher for lecture, but lab is okay.

Leacture sucks. But you have to go for points. Easy pass though if you dont care about learning, the curve is incredible.

About $50 dollars to take attendance(makes you buy/rent clickers). His lectures can be quite boring as he just derives equations on the board the entire time(won't learn much from that). But it's really easy to pass with a C. You just need at least a 25% on the final and a barely decent grade on the first two midterms at the bare minimum.

His exams are DIFFICULT! If you are willing to learn on your own then take him b/c he doesn't really teach but writes formulas on the board. The hw can be hard and is due every week as wells the quizzes. You have to get 4/16 on the final in order to pass the class or else he WILL NOT pass you, even if you did well on the 2 midterms, hw & quizzes.

All he does during lectures is just deriving equations on the board. Even though you copy down everything he writes, it won't help you that much for the exams. Gives two midterms and a final, which are all MC. Sounds easy but it's tough. It helps you better if you just read the textbook than listen to the lecture. AVOID!

He's not a great professor. During the lectures, all he does it write derivatives and doesn't explain. He's a very unorganized writer so pay attention while he writes on the board. He is very RUDE towards his students! Homework& quizzes are weekly and there are 2 midterms and a final(which are hard because you don't learn anything in his lectures)

Writes all day on board but you cant see past his body. Only writes is derivations, not the uses. Learned more in lab. Quizzes and hw are hard. 2 midterms 8 questions each. Sounds easy but unless you already know physics, you aren't learning anything from him to help on tests. Class averages 38. Curves total grade cause everyone is 40%. DONTTAKE.

Horrible. boring. goes way too fast. doesn't care. VERY messy. he doesn't actually teach. he pretty much writes and writes on the board all lecture. hw and quizzes online not easy. tests would be easy if he actually taught us something.

He is a horrible teacher. He doesn't care about the students. His lectures, homework, quizzes, and exams have nothing in common. I had to supplement his horrible class with lectures online. Homework and quizzes are done online. His exams are multiple choice. There was two midterms (10 questions) and a final (20 question). I suggest avoid him.

Before taking Wanser, I initially went through the ratings for this guy and thought, "oh he can't be that bad!". Be prepared to learn nothing! His body covers up the board when he writes our "notes", so it's hard to learn, and he refuses to move over a little when students ask him to. He gives daily quizzes over things he never taught you. Avoid.
