Without a doubt the worst professor I've had. I took Financial Accounting with her and have to retake it. The material she lectured over was mostly tangential/unrelated to the tests, she barely made herself available outside of class, could not answer most questions, and I had to learn it all on my own, which didn't go well. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Worst teacher I've ever had if you can even call her a teacher. You will have to learn everything on your own. Prepare to do worksheets in class that do not pertain to the tests at all, as well as be tested on material that she only briefly mentions if at all. If you can avoid her you 10000% should at all costs. Glad to be done with her class.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unhelpful, rude, slow at responding to *urgent* emails, often comes to class unprepared, won't curve the class even though people fail out of it though it's mandatory for bschool and some other majors, poor at communicating what content to learn, often gets stuck herself on test problems. Can't teach. You will teach yourself.

Hands down the worst teacher I've had throughout my college experience. Imagine a teacher that doesn't explain concepts from the reading in class, only gives worksheets during class, is late more often than not, yells at students for "not taking notes her way," and questions "how did you guys even graduate high school." This woman should not teach.

If you want to pass/learn about accounting, take someone else. If you want to be in a regular class setting, where lecture, notes, and a normal teaching style exists, TAKE SOMEONE ELSE. You take Denise, you fail. Simple as it. She spends more time apologizing for correcting someone because she doesn't want to seem rude than actually teaching.

There is no motivation to come to class as she doesn't take attendance and teach anything during the period. The first test is a freebie, but after that, you're on your own. The tests dont cover anything from the homework assignments and her lectures are useless if she even makes it to class on time. Never thought I'd have such an aweful hag teach.

Stupid professor I have ever seen in Slu. Students rate her 0 point, yet no other teacher can be choose. If you expecting to study by yourself at all time, go ahead and take this class. In class presentation doesn't help,plus her hand writing are too difficult to recognize. She can get upset if we did not response to her. Seems nice,Hard to follow

This professor is usually nice, but really spacy. She did get really upset when we asked her to slow down the pace of the class and yelled at us. Not an overly hard class, lots of examples.

Just....awful. She got mixed up during all of her examples and couldn't even teach the powerpoint slides. I slept through most of her 8am classes and walked out with a B+. Her tests were moderately difficult, only because she didn't actually teach the material.

I took her for Managerial Accounting. She was the worst teacher I have ever had at SLU. It didn't matter if you went to class because she just read directly from the book's slides without explanations. Horrible teacher DO NOT TAKE unless you are ok with 100% teaching yourself. She is also so spacey and randomly wouldn't show up because she forgot.

Do NOT take. I read these reviews and thought that I could do it. DO NOT TAKE HER. YOU WILL BE WASTING MONEY. If you MUST take her, buy the study guide that goes with the book online. Do NOT go to class. Study the study guide and do all the questions from that for the tests. You could get a B if you did that. But DO NOT TAKE HER!

You really do not need to attend. Unless you want the packets she hands out. I ended having to teach myself. I strongly recommend you not taking her unless you have lots of extra time to teach yourself.

Nice lady, but easily the worst teacher I've had at SLU. Her lectures lack organization and will confuse a student quickly. I'm nice about rating professors, but she has trouble communicating simple ideas as a normal person would. Avoid if possible.

Her class is easy if you just read the book and understand basic accounting concepts. She tests hard only three for the semester and its very spread out. She's very scatterbrained and doesn't offer much help in class. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone...but she only one of the choices for this class so good luck.
