Organized & helpful. A difficult class but he tried his best to make it do-able. He is always willing to help on assignments in office hours. Really friendly outside class, a little savage/cheeky during lecture! Exam was similar to the practice exam, but he didn't curve the class. A theoretical prof, you need to go beyond lectures on your own.

Averages on assignments were very high and averages on midterms were abysmally low. Since midterm questions were on FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS it's clear that no one understood anything and just copied off one another for the assignments. The midterms were MUCH easier than the assignments. DO YOUR OWN homework and you will do well in the course.

He's a great prof for this course. His pace is very good as topics are not rushed. Has good examples of special cases that he brings up in lecture. Lectures supplement textbook material, not a direct repeat. He's quite funny in an adorably awkward way. Assessments are very fair. Do homework/assignments ON YOUR OWN, come to lecture and you get 85+

Dr. Pelinovsky is always super willing to answer questions, even if they're on the assignment or for a different class. He is a very theoretical professor; you have to keep up with examples and applications on your own to really understand. Definitely not the guy to try and find an easy course from.

Awful Prof. Has a thick accent and is hard to understand. He is so easy. It's a shame. Make your tests and exams more challenging Pelinovsky, this is a 3rd year math course, not a highschool math course! Ridiculous prof.

One of my favourite math profs I've had in my 4 years at mac and I haven't even finished the course yet! SO knowledgeable about what he does it's inspiring, and his explanations are always so precise and clear. He ties together different areas of the subject and emphasizes these deeper connections. SO INTERESTING I seriously love going to this clas

This guy is a math machine!! Knows his subject very well, and can explain things 3 times over 3 different ways. Fairly easy to understand, easy to hear - speaks loud without a mic. You have to keep up with the course to understand what he's talking about otherwise you will be completely lost - Explanations are a very in depth!

His class is full of sheorems. He has a unique accent, but it's not as bad as many other professors. He is approachable, almost in a child-like way. Lives and breathes math, so his explanations can sometimes be a little heavy.

What a guy. Takes a little to get used the his russian accent, but once you get used to it he is the man. His full arm interpretations of vectors in 2, 3, and n space made him a pleasure to watch. Zita, teeta, scheeereorem, linee AAAlgebra were just a few of his rememberable sayings.

Another prof with a crappy attitude towards students. The man is a robot with no emotion, no ability to relate to humans, and no ability to teach. I suggest you resign, move to the northern tundra and become one with nature. I'm sure you will fit in well with lifeless barren landscapes.
