Comment:

Absolutely loved her class! She values quality work over everything so there are no due dates on the essays, which was a plus and the tests are SUPER easy. Beware when she cancels class because she wont tell you until 10-20 minuets before class starts, so always check your email before you leave!

Comment:

She is very intelligent, well-read, and laid back. If you need an easy A, take her class. She never takes attendance and gives a lecture every day. You have 5 essays, which you can turn in almost whenever, and 2 tests. You grade your own test in class. If you need structure to stay on task, do not take her. If you want an A, take her class.

I hate British Literature, but she helped me learn to hate it less! She is a great teacher, she is fair, she listens well, and she does not wear her politics on her sleeve. I would take her again in a heartbeat. If you have a chance, take her. Attendance is not mandatory, but working hard is.

Comment:

A very easy professor with a lax attendance policy. These "good" qualities are overshadowed by her consistently being 10-15 minutes late for class and seemed to be unprepared for lectures. However, she was a very positive and helpful professor--she was available via office hours and e-mail for discussion.

Comment:

My favorite English professor on campus! She's so helpful and willing to help the students in any way that she can. Her tests are easy and she'll give extensions on papers. I would highly recommend her!

She is the best prof at UNT! I love her!! So incredibly helpful, smart, open to new ideas and she really cares about her students success. She will meet with you whenever and is crazy flexible. It's a heavy reading load but super interesting and totally worth! SO GREAT. Definitely take her if you can.

She is a genuinely great human being. She is actually interested in you learning, not like most profs that just like hearing the sound of their own voice. She did me a huge favor when every other professor would have laughed in my face at the opportunity. She is one of those people who restores your faith in humanity. 10/10 would take class again.

She is so great. The only thing is that you have to go to class otherwise you will not be able to pass the tests. In both my classes with her we had a mid term and a paper and that was our grade. Go to class and have a great time. she is so much fun!

One of my favorite teachers so far. I highly recommend her for ENGL 3000. She really loves teaching this class and you can tell. It was very interesting and I found her very respectful of other people's opinions while at the same time not letting people say nonsense. I really liked this class.

Very laid back, not so easy to talk to but knows her stuff. I'd recommend if you wanted to take ENGL 3000, take it with this teacher. Papers instead of tests though, so if you don't like to write papers, don't take her. I found her fun and passionate about what she does, making me interested as well.

Loved her class. Wasn't that interested at first, but got into it. Only had 2 grades: midterm & final. But both were easy and she told us ahead of time what to expect on them. Wonderful professor!
