No words other than do not take her class. Nice lady, boring lectures, teach yourself questions and content and rambles about nonsense. You barely do examples in class and learning outcomes are not clear whatsoever. Not an effective use of my time or money.

Purely doable out of the textbook. She allowed us to bring cheat sheets to exams as well - make sure to copy them for reuse on later exams. Lectures were to the point but dry. The class could barely answer any questions beyond addition?? LOL!!! I never attended more than like 2. She prepares you 100% for exams unlike a lot of profs in business...

She is very bad at communicating to the students. This is not because of her accent. She teaches the students terms and things that are easily learnt on their own however when it comes to the hard calculations she leaves students to fend for themselves. DO NOT TAKE.

This prof is very bad at explaining the material and her slides are no better. If it weren't for my awesome econ profs in other classes I would have no idea what she's talking about. Smart lady but she cannot teach.

Dorothee is a very nice person, but her teaching style is extremely boring. She just reads off of slides during lectures, and her slides aren't always clear or detailed enough. Exams are fair, but are only out of 25-30 marks each, meaning it's easy to get screwed over by the curve.

Dorothee is not up to date in international business news at all. Half of the time I felt myself correcting her. Her midterm and final are easy if you memorize the notes. There's a huge group project so have fun with that - she said she wanted a twenty minute presentation but actually wanted a 45 minute one. Vague at times.

She is quite boring and seems to only teach the academic view of finance. Asking her questions about how the models relate to other financial topics or to the real-world will get you no answers. I found her rude when questions were asked and not interesting at all. Not recommended!

Dorothee was an average professor, she is extremely intelligent but her teaching methods could use some improvement. In a class about international business, I felt she could have made lectures a bit more interesting. The final term project is a huge part of the course. Make sure you get a good group.

Class is a joke. Easiest Finance class ever. Do all the recommended problems and practice exams and you'll be fine. Prof is extremely helpful. Only beef is her lecture notes can be a bit more clear. Great prof!

Class wasn't too bad. Everything dealing with arbitrage exchange rates situations were most interesting (prior midterm). Things got a little more complicated with Cost of Capital and Capital Budgeting. Definitely should understand all the lecture examples and sample final questions for review. Exams can be time pressed. You get one term project.

She's overall very helpful, and the material isn't too bad, but her exams are brutal. Basically her exams are the examples she shows, but she flips everything around and you need to know your material inside and out, and there really is a time crunch. Know your stuff!
