Doug is a really good public speaking professor. The classroom is low pressure and he gives a lot of positive feedback. He does ask the class to give feedback on speeches given towards the end of class, but normally students are chill so it's fine. He's really approachable and willing to help when you need it.

Doug's a really nice guy; however, nice guys always finish last. I was always extremely bored during his class and never felt challenged during it. I never paid any attention and still got an A. Just do the journals and the online quizzes and you'll be fine.

He's an awesome guy, funny and extremely kind, but not a very helpful teacher. If you do the work, which is all easy (this class is an easy A) you'll do fine. There are group projects, though, that people slack on. Not many people show up to this class which means one person usually does all the work and Mr. Isiminger is no help there.

Doug is very laid back and easy going, at least in the intro to comm class I took. He can be a little disorganized, so I recommend sticking to on-campus classes. He will admit mistakes. I once forgot to take a quiz and he opened it back up for me :)

He was an easy teacher, as long as you tried. Way easier then all of my peers public speaking teachers. Sometimes he would have good stories, and he was interested in what you had to say.

Took his class online and was very disappointed! Does not check dates with an actual calendar. Quizzes do not line up with assigned reading material and he will not let you retake. Does not reply in a timely manner, and if he does reply it is very selective. Assignments are not explained. He rarely updates grades so you never know where you're at!

Took his class online, he was not very helpful, but definitely an easy A grade as long as you put in a tiny amount of effort, but he never updated dates or times for things to be turned in, so the day and date never corresponded. He was interesting, but I think I would have rather taken the class in person.

doug is super entertaining and a very nice guy. he can get a little off topic but its nothing to complain about. class goes by fast with him and its not too hard. if you do the work and study you will be fine.

Doug is a great teacher. He gets off track a lot but is entertaining. Tests are easy- he tells you exactly what is going to be on them, you have two group projects that are also easy. Other than that you don't do a whole lot besides 9 journals- again, very easy. Great class to take! Not hard to get a good grade :)

One of the best classes I have ever had! Doug is the man! For the most part if you show up and pay attention in class you will get a good grade! the material is actually very use full in real life! the quiz's for each chapter are mostly on stuff he talks about in class and for the midterm he just made it a take home!!! Highly recommended!!

Tends to go off on tangents so it makes it hard to know what you are supposed to remember for tests. Looking at the vocab in the book helps the most. Laid back, pretty funny and understanding. Not much homework either.

Isiminger is a good guy. The problem is that I don't really learn too much in the class. You have two choices here: Read the text and not attend class, or not read the text and attend class. The second option is probably the better choice so you can keep up on the occasional hand-out or group project. Isiminger also has a tendency to go on and on a

Doug is such a good teacher, i actually liked going to his class. All we really did homework- wise was journals due 2 times during the semester and only 2 SHORT papers. Tests are super easy because he uses common sense to teach you, i was never confused in his class
