Lets just say if you're not willing to put in work, study a lot, and expect an easy A don't take his class. However, he is very knowledgeable and his class is challenging but you definitely learn a lot. He requires you to volunteer so I do recommend you do it early in the semester and get it out of the way.

I still do not understand how he's in the 4's. This class was an absolute disaster. 15 hours of community service, 3 reflection papers, homework almost every class (that is difficult as hell) and his tests are almost impossible to solve no matter how hard you studied. Your hard work does not pay off!! DONT TAKE HIM.

Great class experience, this guys knows a hell a lot about Finance. Does not use the text book that much. Had to do service learning or do a 10 pg paper and a presentation. Tests are extremely hard but he gives an 'A' fr 86. 3 tests but you can decide what % to allocate which test. I literally got an A even b4 the finals. Loves Sam Adams. Must Take

First of all i dont know why theres a hotness rating for this guy uhhh he's old! besides that he's a great teacher but not for you if you're lazy. His exams are really crazy but at least you learn alot at the end of it. This class actually caused me to study the textbook like crazy the first 2 weeks of class!

One of the deans of Tobin, he knows what he is teaching and explains it well.. I wouldn't call the class easy but if you are looking for a quality professor who will teach you something useful he's your guy

Difficult. Comes in few minutes late, current events then notes. Doesn't give you enough time to process everything. Exams are really difficult and aren't just class/text notes. Smart guy though, a lot to be learned from him but be willing to put in a lot of effort. Good luck if you're taking him.

Tough class . . still fair. . but the guy does have a lot you can learn from him . . . 15page term paper open ended wiht a presentation to follow exams straight forward mostly scantron followed by word problems you really have to know your stuff for those they get pretty intense would recommend but you have to give it a full effort

He is really good professor and he is a dean. You can learn a lot of practical things in his class, which can be useful in the real world. I got an A, but he is not easy at all. I suggest to study on your own. 2 mid term tests and Final and one paper. No homeworks. If you want a good grade it is better to have good knowledge on calculus (graphs)!!!

He is really nice guy. Of course you do have to study on your own, but if you are economics or finance major you know that it is not easy stuff.But he creates a kind of really good atmosphere in class. He is not boring,really cute and sexy.Moreover he is the dean, which is a plus for you if you do good in class.
