Took his class online with lab and there's quite a bit of work to do online but not impossible! Enjoy his labs! Great teacher and as long as you show up to each lab there shouldn't be a problem with you getting an A at all! :)

Nice teacher and very easy to work with. Participate, do your homework, study, be a good student, and you should have no problem getting an A ;)! I took this class online with him for lab and he was a fantastic teacher. Easy to learn from and I ask a lot of questions! Smart man and he loves Band of Horses :D!!! He is the best!

I had him for lab and I missed 2-3 labs and quizzes so my grades were not that great but that was my fault. As a teacher, professor wood is great! I hate school but I didn't hate going to his class. He's clear on what is expected and what he wants. Just study and pay attention and you will do fine.

He taught the lab portion of BIO 107. Quizzes every week on the previous weeks lab. Review and you'll be good to go! I looked forward to his lab class every week! Really clear on expectations and if you have any questions during the lab, ask and he'll explain it better. You also go to the zoo and aquarium! )

Nicelaid back guy. Quiz every week on info from the previous lab (about 10 questions). Those quizzes are worth a lot but if you study a little you will be fine. Labs are fun and interesting and two days you will go to the zoo and aquarium. If you need a lab definitely take this class.

Textbook cost $19. Must go to class, your grade will drop is you did not go to the labs. Class was easy. After a lab there would be a quiz the following week. The quiz is straight forward. Organized and quick on grading. After a lab, he grades the lab book. and you get to go to the zoo!

Very good professor. Take him if you get the chance. He's hard, but explains things very clear and you know what you need to do to get a good grade. Super laid back and funny. He makes biology fun, which it should be, because hey, its biology ;) .. For an A, show up for the easy labs, and study a lot every week for the hard quizzes.

He taught Lab section of online course. Awesome teacher and very funny. If you work hard he recognizes that and is very flexible. If you are a slacker, as other poster said, he is not happy. At first I regretted there not being an online lab anymore but I had so much fun using the lab equipment (electrophoresis-cool!), I lost those regrets fast.

Great instructor! I had dropped BIO's before before due to lack of interest and professors that weren't helpful. You do have to work hard and he does recognize those that do..and those that don't. Very laid back. Funny too! Mostly he is a great teacher!

Teaches lab portion on campus. Good guy, enjoys teaching. If you work hard he notices and will be extremely flexible. If you slack during labs, he works to hide his contempt. Bottom line, work hard and you will have a great lab class. Labs are pretty cool.
