Took her for CD gen ed. At first it seemed overwhelming, but it becomes doable. Fair, and in my opinion, easy grader on papers. I read the novels and skimmed the "Truth" book, and still got an A. Baker did ramble a lot, but it made time fly. Watched a couple of films as well.

Comment:

She's a very nice lady, and you can tell she's excited about the classwork. Not very interesting, and it wasn't a huge deal if you missed class. I got by fine just by skimming all the books. Papers were extremely easy, so long as you're complete in your work and put some thought into it. She was very willing to help with all and any questions.

She is one of the worst professors I have ever had. Do not take this class with her, especially if you are an English major. She gives out tons of pointless assignments. She rambles on and on about nothing important. If you have ever written a research paper before, you will be extremely bored with the classes and want to tear your hair out. :(

She's a very nice lady. The class is extremely boring because she's not organized at all, but she does try. With the papers, you have to learn how she likes people to write and then adjust to her. I would say take her, but you do have to put some work into the class.

Class is VERY boring. She basically just talks about hardly relevent things for the whole time. TONS of reading that isn't even talked about in class. LOTS of writing, most of it is a major waste of time. She grades pretty easily as long as you include a lot of text references. Not very interesting.

This is a writing class, not a reading class. We had to do these stupid, time-wasting journals plus write a ten-page essay over a book. "Class discussions" consist of only her talking the whole time about something no one cares about.

Very nice lady. Willing to help you if you ask for it. Lectures were hard to follow because they were boring. Her papers were an easy 20points. Study for the tests and make sure you have an indept thesis or she will take off lots of points.

A pretty good teacher. Required lots of essays and short papers, even though the class was a literature course. Sometimes her directions on assignments were unclear and very general, but still a very easy grader.
