Comment:

Learned a lot even though this was just a prereq for me. She was helpful if you contacted but not very quick about it. Would be great if there was an email for contact in syllabus and not just 'Ask the professor.' Overall, good course. Mandated to attend 2 plays and write a report over (supposed to be at ICC theatre). Self-quiz Pass tests.

You don't need the textbook at all. All test and quiz answers can be found on quizlet. This class takes very little effort to get an A. You do have to write a paper on a play performed at ICC.

SHE IS THE BEST!!! i freaking love robin. was very glad to have her as my theater teacher. i will miss her a lot when i leave. she was a great teacher and is always there for her students. whenever i had problems with a certain teacher in the music department she always listened to me and gave me the best advice, robing i love you bunches!!!

Pretty organized. Good online. There's an assignment almost every week that seems daunting at first: casting assngmnt, a one-act play etc. you learn something for most of the assngmnts, 1-3 discussion boards a bit make work, also a midterm and a final (prepare by studying online all the practice questions) and quizzes on a 1-3 plays to read.

This class is easily one of the easiest ways to get a brief knowledge of the history of theatre as well as earn a Fine Arts credit. Robin is very helpful when you have questions. This class is very discussion board based. You must write 2 brief papers along with a midterm and a final, which are both completely MC. Very EASY!

I'm currently taking this online and it is really easy and actually interesting. You have to attend 2 plays which aren't bad at all. Her assignments can be a little vague, but nothing that you couldn't just ask her to clarify. Definitely worth taking as an elective for my Humanities requirement!

not clear on assignments, no idea what your grade ever is, knows what she is doing, but not always there for questions, will go back to her office during class rehearsals, good director and actress, not a good teacher in my opinion

Took online. Easy material & only two tests. She has a facination with dbs and # of posts. Semi-clear once you can decipher the CAPITALS and BOLD print throughout assignments. Confusing!! Not super understanding if you miss something in random BOLD titled folders. Gives lectures on fairness before allowing make up. Made us work over thanks break.

Fun and exciting to take, your intrest in the class with only be matched by the professors passion for the art of theater. I reccomend her only if you are serious about acting or directing, otherwise you will not do well.
