This class was so annoying. His lectures usually consist of jokes and stories for the first 35 min. then lectures the last 15..the paper is hard and his exams are all essay. He is really nice but the class was pointless and hard.

Nicest man on the planet. Class can be difficult if you aren't in an environmentally focused major, but he will do everything in his power to help you out. VISIT HIM DURING OFFICE HOURS! The paper is pretty hard, but the req. books are fun. Starts every class with jokes that wouldn't be as funny if anyone other than him was telling them :-)

he is soo nice. his notes can be a little confusing because he doesnt use everything in the book and adds some stuff. but i did bad on the first test and after that he helped me so much. hes really funny too. i would definately recommend him hes awesome

He puts up a transparency of like 5 words and lectures for an hour. You basically have to write down everything he says. He doesn't talk about some of the notes, or goes out of order. It makes your notes such a disorganized mess at the end of class you can't read anything you just learned. Its almost impossible to study from those kind of notes.

GREAT prof.! Hilarious, esp. out of class. VERY interested, VERY knowledgeable. I studied more for this History class than any other ever and ended up with only a "B", but a FANTASTIC experience!!! HIGHLY recommend for HIST majors.

I took his Early American History honors course and he was one of the greatest professors I've had. He's very helpful, genuinely cares about his students and wants to make sure you completely understand the material (not just have it memorized). Great class, great guy.

Good teacher, Indian History is an awesome course. Learned more then I ever did about Indian History. Just 1 research paper and 3 exams. Field Trip to Indian Reservation the highlight of trip. To many supplement books used, just need 1-2 and go in depth.
