I do have to give her credit that she does know her stuff. Unfortunately I made the mistake of taking this class online. When it came to reviews she wasn't very helpful and the tests were completely different than what we had learned. In all fairness if you reach out to her she is willing to make appointments and try to help.

She doesn't listen to her students when they ask for help, she's really strict, she grades the culmuatative reviews, and sometimes teaches us the mathematical concepts differently than what assignments ask students to do. She says she's willing to help but doesn't lend a good ear at all.

Edna was a great teacher! She really knows her stuff, and goes slowly enough for everyone to learn. She is very kind and cares about her students. Overall, I would highly recommend her if you have a hard time with math. Very very good professor.

Great teacher. She really cares if her students are understanding what she is teaching. She will pull you aside after class to see how everything is going and if there is anything that you don't get. She is a good teacher. I would recomend taking math from her. She is hoot too.

On took this class on the block. It was hard and I had alot of homework. But what do you expect from a block class? Eden Thompson is very clear and helpfull in class. She goes over every detail! My only advice would be to go to class every day because it's easy to fall behind.

SHE IS THE WORST MATH TEACHER AT UVSC! She has a really bad accent so you have to focus on understanding her before you can think about math. She doesn't care about how the students are doing, she just cares about staying to the schedule religously. It is a joke! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! If you want to learn anything, I promise you will regret it!

boy was she tough, but she warned us. she gives worksheets that keep you current from the beginning of the semester until the end, so you won't forget anything. quizes are frequent, but that makes you study, right? I got a B+ in the class, but I worked hard. she is smart and fair and wants her students to succeed. I wish she was teaching 1050 too

Mrs. Thompson was a great instructor. She definitely knew what she was talking about and stressed the important topics alot. Unlike other teachers I've had she reviewed for the final throughout the semester. If she taught my other required classes I'd take her again in a heart beat.

Ridiculous amounts of time are required for the work in this class. No reviews for final, we had lectures up to the last day of class. Difficult tests. I have a hard time with math and she didn't make it any easier. Quizes 3 days a week. If you're a masochist you will enjoy this class. :) She is definitley a LAST resort professor.

I have never been so disgusted by a teacher until I took this class! Almost everyone has something negative to say about her. If you take this class from her you are setting yourself up to fail. People who like her must be naturally good at math. She could care less about her students. I hope she realizes what a ***** she is!

shes not bad but shes not great. hard grader hasses little quizes everday your not in the lab. all home work is done on the internet, its nice but frustrating, if you have a choice for a diff prof i would do it
