Janice is a great teacher. She encourages you to think and attempt problems outside of your comfort zone. Several of her class lectures were inspiring and really encouraged me to try harder. Beware of Final Exam for this class, seems to test more on concepts rather than knowing how to do the actual problems but of no fault of the instructor.

She is a nice lady, and she grades really fair. She gives a lot of extra credit, if you sit through the lecutres. A lot of people seemed confused, but it's a hard class no matter who teaches it. She is really late on her grades. My grade still isn't posted and the semester ended like two weeks ago.

Not a great teacher. Does not know the material well and basically all she does is write the examples from the text on the board. She is not a very approachable person and often demeans students in front of the entire class. Test/quizzes/homework NOT returned in a timely fashion. You will NOT want to ask questions (trust me). Steer clear!

When a teacher invests their own time to make a study group on the weekends, take advantage of it. ---- She is a decent teacher and is willing to help people. ---- Her tests are very fair, IF YOU KNOW THE MATERIAL (THE TESTS ARE NOT SCANTRON!) ---- Easy C, Reasonable B, but if you are on top of your studying, you can get an A. ---- Recommended :)

I took this class for two days and dropped. During our first class she went through the review material soo fast it did give you andtime to comprehend it. She made you feel like teaching was the last thing she wanted to be doing. I do NOT recommend taking her at all.

I had a really awful experience with her. I did not like her as a teacher at all. She would make you feel like an idiot for asking any questions and would openly admit that she did not know how to do a certain section. I dreaded going to this class, didn't learn a thing, and would not recommend her at all.

Awesome lady, ok techer. I am not a math person but managed this class. Teaches you how to use your calculator to figure alot of stuff out. Tests are ok; homework and attendance worth alot. Has a test every two chapters which can be alot of material at once. Final is cumulative. I would take her class again.

Great teacher!, Easy Grader, teaches pretty clearly and helps you out, she grades pretty much on test and hw is extra credit...She is very helpful and will take time to help you if you need it, attendance isn't mandatory but required for her to help you, great class. Recommended

One of the coolest teachers at moorpark. She covers material very well, she even taught us a cool song to remember a formula. No excuses for not getting an "A" or "B" in her class. She gives a lot of extra credit and homework benefits you. She keeps it REAL. If she was teaching Math 7 (which she should) I would take her in a heartbeat.

It's one of those classes that you have to go every day and you have to put the time and effort into your work, she gave homework, DO IT! It helps your final grade. I would take her again in a heartbeat.
