Eve is great, and she's very knowledgeable on International Relations/U.S. Foreign Policy/ Africa. Her intro. class was a little difficult because she doesn't really teach it like an intro course. She expects you to know quite a bit of outside information. No tests, just memos (many group assignments)! Lots of reading but all in all I enjoyed class

GREAT professor. Everyone who gives her a negative rating is just lazy. Readings are highly interesting. I'm an American politics major but she made me consider international. Incredible advocate if she likes you, just don't make her mad (which, again, if you are lazy will happen). She is straight forward so everyone with a bad grade is lazy.

I think Professor Sandberg is GREAT! Her class was so much fun!! I learned so much, and Professor Sandberg herself is such a wealth of information. She is so smart! She is a great teacher, and she teaches a great class! TAKE A CLASS WITH HER!!

As a POLT major, this is undoubtedly the worst class I have taken at Oberlin, regardless of her alleged "expertise" and "brilliance" in other courses. This course has no structure or content. Without exaggeration, one would learn more by reading the NY Times than by taking this course. Terrible readings, and pathetic class "discussion." Don't take

I think she is best in Intro classes, where the material lends itself to a clear structure. I loved Polt 120 with her, but her upper level classes can be repetitive. Overall though, she is incredibly brilliant and helpful outside of class.

Eve Sandberg is the best professor I have had at Oberlin, as a senior majoring in Politics and Psyc. Honestly, her experience, prestige, and yet great teaching style is phenominal. Take her!!!!!!!!! You will learn so much, and it is such a useful subject.

be careful when you ask her for help- sometimes she gets angry at people for this. no real clear lectures where you knew what she was trying to focus on, even with the syllabus as a guide.

Brilliant, insightful and caring. Material was relavent, and her grasp on foreign policy was astounding. Assignments were fair and interesting. I couldn't be more laudatory.

While I have enormous respect for her and recognize the considerable scope of her intelligence and her knowlege, she did not teach much in this class. there was no continuity or structure over the course of the semester, and her expectations on papers and the final were compeltely unclear. If she's busy or distracted, too bad for you.

Ms. Sandberg is my hero and my favorite teacher. I want to be her when I grow up. She has done everything and been everywhere and is full of knowledge. Listening to her lecture is a dream come true.

Ms. Sandberg is brilliant - take her class just to hear her expound on any number of issues. The readings she assigns are excellent. On the downside, she can get off topic, and doesn't clearly explain assingments. Still, she's amazing.

Challenging, a bit scary at times, incredibly smart and actually involved in the world issues she teaches--she helped train female political candidates in Morocco for their first elections. I reccommend her highly.

Ms. Sandberg is very, very experienced in her field! She assigns a lot of reading and does not hold your hand through it. She is a really good teacher and adequately explains material, though she does occasionally get distracted.
