I do not think I have ever met a more confusing and disorganized professor. I felt like we had something due everyday when we came in. There was a homework most of the students did not see it because it was posted late. He answers questions like the students should know the answer to them. On a scale of one to ten I would give him a two at best.

I am taking Physics, A&P, and Statistics but somehow Mr. Holt managed to make ENGLISH 1 my hardest class. He is not very clear on his assignments, he has a course outline of all the assignments for the semester but he does not update it when he deviates from it, and by the midpoint he didn't post ANY grades so I didnt know if I needed to drop.

Loved Professor Holt. Took him for my first 2 english classes. If you try, you will pass. But if not (don't come to class, don't do the notecards...) you probably won't. Holt is really funny and very helpful to those who ask for it. Really engaging class, I'd take him again.

He has a pretty ok class, I like the way he grades quizzes. I'm pretty sure if I had put in more effort I would have made an A. Although he can be very sarcastic, he also helpful. In order to pass the class you must show up and you must do your paper assignments.

Please never take her class if you don't want to fail!!! She never makes things clear. I'm stressed out every time I go to her class. This lady doesn't give assignments, homework or papers back to students on time. We won't know what she wants from us. The worst experience ever!!!

At first I was only interested in taking this because it satisfied what I needed to Graduate. After being in the class I began to gain interest and Ms. Holt encounter assignments are awesome. She gives the option on which to go to. If you read the materials and attend class you'll do well. Ms. Holt wants her students to succeed, but no free ride.

Terrible! It's like pulling teeth to drag out of her what we're expected to do. No direction, slow to respond to questions. Basically we just have a list of due dates with no reason how what we're doing applies to the class. We're pretty much guessing what she wants. Students are left to fend for themselves with no help at all. NOT GOOD!

This class definetely isnt an easy A class but if you pay attention and take notes you should be fine. This teacher is really nice and is willing to take time to explain things if you dont understand them fully. There are a lot of papers to write, but she gives you enough time to do them.

The worst teacher i ever had in my life. Gives so much work with no clear details on how to do it. Expects so much from you and GRADES SO HARSH. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER...So many people dropped her class in the second week. She is so hard i should have dropped it too. This teacher is a disgrace to our education system. Instructions unclear, massive workload, and on top of that not clear at all. Ask a question, like I did, and receive an F. Obviously that's not allowed. Had a B before that mess up. Very sad. Started to complain to the Chair (her boss) but will wait till I've graduated for fear of back lash.
