Comment:

Seems to take an english course at a community college way too seriously. Gives you feedback based on if he likes what you're saying. I'd avoid this professor if you can if you're not planning on mastering english and could care less every little snobby detail of writing. I don't think he's ever given an A.

terrible, rude, doesn't want to give clear answers in emails and takes too long to answer. Only cares about his educated attitude and wouldn't allow topics unless HE likes them. Don't make mistakes because he doesn't care and only refers you to read his syllabus. didn't grade your final until you completed a 10 pt. opt survey about him. avoid him!

This was my first online CCP class as a sophomore, and I thought it was a good introduction into writing. There were 4 topics with an essay at the end of each along with a separate final topic. The online format was very organized. He graded hard, but if you put work into the essays, it shouldn't be too bad. Extra credit on good peer reviews.

Professor Kanieski is one of the best professors I have ever had. He can be a tough grader, but I don't really know what you expect when you take a college class? His grading criteria is clear, he gives you the rubric so just write your paper with that in mind. it's not an easy A but sorry, life isn't all about easy A's. Work hard and youll be fine

Going into this class as a sophomore was not a good idea. The class consisted of three essays and preliminary work given to work up to the essay. my grade wasnt very good on the first essay, so i got an english tutor that majored in english to help me and when i turned that essay in i still failed.

Class is not hard. He is extremely helpful and will quite literally tell you what info could fit well in your paper (it is your job to incorporate how it will). He is specific with his grading but use the rough draft grading to fix your final copy. If you put in the effort, there's no reason you cannot get a B. Don't procrastinate or you will fail.

George was an amazing professor. I found his feedback very helpful and used his corrections to write future papers. I was glad to have him to introduce me to online classes. He graded things lightly and quickly.

Prof. K is ana wesome teacher. I had him for 1010, 1020, and Creative Writing. Super easy to get an A in the class as long as you participate and follow the guidlines. He gives great feedback, and while he is a little bit tough, as long as you follow his critiques you'll be good. He is very accessible outisde of class and he is very undestanding.

hardest class EVER. He is a EXTREMELY tough grader, and gives a TON of work in each unit five to six per unit, with three days in between, very overwhelming. my grade dropped due to personal stuff, and he did not allow me an option of trying to raise grade though other work, besides two final projects. DO NOT take this class if you have a life.

Prof. K gives detailed feedback on each writing assignment so you can use it to do better on the next one; pay attention to the details like proper citations because points will be deducted. I was able to reach him in his office for specific questions, and he was very easy to talk to. I learned a lot from his class, and enjoyed it a lot.

Took intro to poetry online for a GE requirement. I do all the work and do not miss anything, I am a good student and don't simply half ass work and turn it in. The guy is far too difficult of a grader for an intro level course that most students are taking as a GE. Extremely annoying, there isn't a TON of work but he grades under a microscope.

Great teacher! Very knowledgeable about poetry and wants his students to succeed. Answers emails in a timely manner and provides thorough feedback on assignments. Study of two contemporary poets in addition to the classics.

George is a great guy, and an even better teacher. He is a tough grader, but he only wants to see you improve. He is very passionate about writing. He gives a fair amount of homework each week. As long as you like writing, it shouldn't be that difficult for you. You do need to buy two books, but they are both very cheap.

VERY subjective with grading. Difficult to please; when he has his mind set in one way, he will not change for you. Takes a while to grade papers and other assignments. Sends group emails basically every time he grades a single assignment. Confusing with criteria
