He's great! He's really easy to get along with and he's really nice and understanding. If you're confused, make sure you ask him, it's obvious he loves biology and he's pretty good at making it simple. The first week, I thought this was going to be the most boring teacher ever but it turned out pretty great as the semester progressed

He's super chill with his tests! lots of extra credit opportunities. He lets you leave early if you finish your lab. Doesn't even look through your work completely just make sure you understand his lectures. Everything is open notes.

I promise you, he is one of the toughest bio lab teachers in SWC, all i can say is LONG LECTURES, he makes the work hard when really labs are sorta easy and expect to stay there the whole 3 hrs + NO makeup quizzes. he is nice but damn... there are a lot more better bio teachers out there!

I learn a lot from him, I wished I took him for bio 100. He is an excellent lecturer, makes some pretty funny jokes, and he is fun to talk to. He makes learning fun & understandable. You must come to lab everyday, all his lectures and labs are based on the quiz. In the end, a final exam is super easy.

You're allowed to leave the class once you're done with what he will be grading. He lectures for about an hour before you start your lab and his quizzes are ALL about what he lectures on, so PAY ATTENTION. No extra help, no open book, no nothing. The final is cumulative, but easy!

There are no multiple choice quizzes and quizzes are weekly. Other people said their lab teachers have multiple choice quizzes and I wish I had them. He's a good teacher but I had him at the end of the day and was tired as hell. The good thing is he allows you to leave once you finished your lab. His big beef is messes being left after lab work.

his lab was the best class i ever took, he test every week that y attendance is a must but he makes what u learn fun and comprhensable. too bad he doesnt teach lecture cuz then i bet his classes wud be pact, but i realy recomend this class to everyone and n e 1 interested in taking bio 101 or what ever he teaches.

great teacher! he just won't let you retake quizzes.. which will make your grade PLUMMET! miss one class? you're actually missing TWO. just turn in everything, make sure you do his 5 question quiz and you're in class! other than that, wayyy easy.

Prof. Waayers is a real cool teacher! All his material is covered in lecture, so take good notes. A book helps a lot but isn't mandatory to get a good grade. If you go to his lectures he'll tell you what will be on the test. Make sure to study well, & know key concepts. His tests are multiple choice and written answers/diagrams. He's chill & funny.
