Not willing to adapt to students needs, goes off on useless rants, doesn't use blackboard at all. The semester ended a week ago and I still have no idea what my grade is for that class. When the outbox wasn't up to date and the entire class would ask about it he would just say "yes it is" and move on. Only take if you can learn from just lecture.

G-Bizzle is probably the best person I've met in college. He is hilarious, sometimes unintentionally, but he acknowledges that a lot students who take his class are not doing so to become geologists but for credit but still tries to make us leave with a great knowledge and appreciation of the natural world. Incredible class. Definitely take.

One of the best professors I've ever had. I had zero interest in Geology prior to his class. Now I have a much greater appreciation for the field. Subtle and reserved but brilliant.

I found this class very difficult. It was somewhat unclear what we had to know for the test. I never knew what my grade was the entire semester. Assignments were not graded in a timely manner and the class was very boring and dry. I was not happy with this class. Only take this class if you are interested in geography.

Great teacher. Clearly spells out what you need to know on the study guides, if you do not do well it is only because you did not show up or complete the study guide. Full of useful information and tells enough jokes to keep you interested in his lectures. Awesome class trips that are extra credit.

George is a wonderful professor and is very helpful. A majority of his tests are based off of lectures so it's essential to show up to class. Although most students didn't read the book, I found it to be beneficial in order to gain a greater understanding of subject material. Overall, a pretty fun class and the required field trips were great too!

I highly recommend finding another professor if you want to take this class. His tests are absurd and he pointlessly spends all his time in class showing us pictures of his kids and clouds. Needless to say we were unprepared for every exam.

Wonderful guy. You will learn a lot from him if you pay attention. Notes are not critical; if you just listen to what he is saying and understand the concepts, there is no reason to not get an A on any test. Far more thinking and piecing together concepts than rote memorization.

The class was very difficult, for the simple fact that I had it from Monday- Thursday for 4 weeks straight, for about 3.5 hours a day. You have to pay attention and constantly take notes. He gives study guides for the tests, but anything from the lecture is fair game. He's knowledgeable and funny as hell. He's a great professor. Just pay attention!

Good Teacher. I would take a class with him again. Very helpful, you just got to ask for his help. Really easy to get a good grade in his class, just pay attention and take good notes. He is very knowledgeable in this subject and in Geology mainly because he is a Geologist. So who better to teach this course than him.

The class in itself is not so bad, but his tests are rediculous. During class he spends all of the time showing pictures and talking about things that hardly relate to the material. Once its time for the test, he puts stuff on there that you hardly talked about. Tests are graded on a standard bell

G-bizzle, aka George of the Jungle, is one of the best Geology professors on campus. He knows a pant load of info. The class was very fun, and most of the time we got out in time for Melrose.
