He's probably a really nice guy outside of the classroom. He tries to be nice, but just comes off as arrogant.Instead of teaching he "educates" which to him means being completely off-topic, not making any sense, and leaving you to flounder when the test comes. My grade is only an A- b/c I spend hours making up for what he doesn't teach. stressful.

I cant believe he has such poor ratings. i LOVE this teacher & wish there were more classes I could take with him. He has a completely different teaching approach, but he wants you to do well & learn. He expects you to take skills from the class with you. He is hands down my favorite teacher ive ever had! You are actually expected to learn & work!

I took this teacher years ago despite the bad reviews and what I heard about him from other students. My educational path has shifted to accounting now and I am having so much trouble with it thanks to Heyman. Even if you think you have to take his class it is so very important to reconsider. If you do, you may have to come back to retake it

THE best teacher i've ever had at oakton... or ever... he talks about alot of things that dont seem to have any pertainance to the subject but then... makes them relavant. VERY fair grading. VERY easy to talk to and ready to give advice.

He understands his subject and communicates it brilliantly; he's a university-grade teacher teaching at a 2-yr college and, along w/ Cohen, the best Accounting prof @ Oakton. He doesn't collect and grade homework, which doesn't mean he doesn't go over it; he does. No coincidence he and Cohen are the only 2 ACC instructors using the same textbook.

Very smart guy and he knows what he is doing. He talks a lot but the class in not borring like others techers, I think if we had teachers like him American Education and students will neve had problems. He is the worst professor I ever had in my life. He has his own method of teaching which is not related whatsoever to the text book (which he also admits). Its a shame that he teaches at Oakton b/c I have heard others complaint as well.

Good guy but not a good teacher!! talks too much and he thinks we should know what he's talkin about!! His class grades are on 4 exams!! u don't get any homework to turn in, so it makes it harder for you to do well in his class!!

This guy is certainly a bad teacher because he does not teach the subject of accounting. On the first day of class, his lecture dominated on making a right decision on what college to go and note-taking in his way in his class. I could tell he wanted to sound very intelligent but he is just forcing his ideas down students' throat.
