Great Person. Super Interesting to converse with. As long as you are ready to go and get feedback at the beginning of studio you are well off. Other than that expect to stay after regular hours or not be seen. Constantly goes off tangents prolonging feedback causing studio and critiques going over scheduled time. Works with what student put in.

He is extremely knowledgeable about architecture history and theory, and integrates those fields into his critique. Project briefs were interesting yet challenging.

Keiths highly inspiring instruction has taught me to recognize what directions the architectural decision oscillates between: a local solution that nonetheless always hold a possibly temporal place in the process of design. Between his remarkable intelligence and unremitting humour, he is without a doubt one of the best professors I've ever had.

Keith was my professor during the INARCH ADV summer program. He is honestly the most inspirational professor I have been under. His sense of humor along with his vast knowledge and ability to make you want to push forward and simply learn more is unparalleled. The kind of passion he shows towards his work is infectious.

Keith's class was the basis of my entire architecture education. He has so much passion for architecture, and he brings out the passion in all of his students. He taught us how to design conceptually and how to give meaning to our designs. One of the best classes I have ever taken.

Keith is such a sweetheart. When he does come to class, he's engrossed in the work. The best part about Keith is his passion he often becomes more excited than you are about your projects. Unfortunately, this can lead him onto tangents unrelated to the prompt at hand. Really great guy. Great dog. Inspirational and friendly. Good professor.

I took his class this semester at AAU. I'll just say one thing; if he can't inspire, guide and make your work meaning full... no one can. He is mostly more passionate than you about your project. If he is not, or you're not taking his class serious, or you're just trying to finish min.req.list. I think every project needs his wisdom to be wellknown

Keith was my professor for architecture studio 100B. The class was a lot of work, but it was inspiring and motivating. Keith is incredibly good at helping students find their strengths, encouraging them to work hard, and keeping it interesting. Any Berkeley studio class tests a persons strength, but Keith made wothwhile.

Keith is full of passion in both architecture and teaching. Always being inspiring, positive and vigorous, he encourages students to draw connections beyond architecture and acknowledge anything can be architecture. He listens and helps develop your project while you still keep your concept and control. A great instructor, reviewer and friend.

Thinks outside the box and encourages students to draw connections beyond architecture. The fact that the Hopi Snake Dance was relevant to our [IN]Arch projects speaks to Keith's curiosity and dynamism. Come to the table with your own interests beyond design!

Keith was an amazing professor and mentor to have for my summer in the [IN]ARCH program - he supported my ideas, helped me think outside the box, gave me freedom to be creative with my vision, and had faith in the work I wanted to pursue both over the summer and into my academic and professional career afterwards. He made my summer.

One of the most inspiring professors I've ever come across. He will force you to re-think what architecture is and what it can be. He is an eternal optimist when it comes to the potential of his students and believes strongly in your concepts. I think every arch major should take at least one of his classes. He is also exceptionally nice.

Distracted, always rushing to leave. As group instructor he rarely gives crits and uses iphone while doing so. Students get used to it. So they become apathetic. Forget about your concepts, he only half-listens. When giving working crits, if he does, he looks for a wow factor, then elaborates on a tangent leading you nowhere. When he's late he can be patronizing. Rarely is he focused. If he's your instructor, follow your own design, then ask crits from other group instructors to do good.

Great proffesor and great reviewer. He supports you 100% in you project and vision. Wants to help you have a great project. Just put in the time and effort and you'll do great. He puts the rest of the studio instructiors to shame. He's great!
