Comment:

Dr. Risner supervised my internship. Gave great suggestions because he wanted me to be the best that I can be. He is officially retired and is teaching classes and supervising interns so that his scholarship may help interns with financial needs during internship. I thought about quitting, but he wouldn't give up on me. I love dr. Risner!

Comment:

One of the best. I admire this man for so many reasons. He has taught for several years in order to raise scholarship money for students during student internship. I received a large scholarship student internship because of this man's generosity. He expects a lot of students and interns. He expects more of himself as a teacher.

A great mentor, very caring man, and is the reason I care being a good teacher. He shows examples of how to teach in class. Teachers iand principals respect Dr. Risner. He loves what he does. Very practical.

He is the reason that I think that UNA is a great place to attend school. Dr. Risner laughs and makes me laugh and wants us to laugh at our mistakes. He loves to teach but drives me crazy with writing and grammar.Expects too much but is trying to teach me to expect a lot of myself. He is the type of teacher I want to be.

GregRisner is a great teacher because he stays current with today's teachers and schools.This man knows public education and curriculum. He is tough and demanding on students because he gives his best in everything he does. UNAs most professional teacher I have ever had. Thanks for helping me believe in myself.

He is fair and and makes class interesting. He does not pick on students or think that he is better than us. He grades hard on his papers so be sure to get a proof reader. I like the group work and case studies. The clinicals will make you nervous but I now have more confidence. Loves the PEPE stuff. Made me proud to be a teacher.

His tests are very hard! He is fair and enthusiastic about teaching. He does a great job of relating content to the real world with stories of his teaching days. Overall the best teacher I have had. I learned a tremendous amount in all of his classes and when he supervised me in student teaching.

Dr. Risner is great. He is infamous for acting like a fifth-grader during your powerpoint presentation... its only 10 minutes-you'll live! He is a great role-model. His classes are super-organized and they move quickly. Great professor.
