One of the best professors I've ever taken! He makes the class interesting and wants everyone to do well. Always has such a great attitude and enjoys integrating his experiences with the topics we talk about. I hope he makes it to teaching English 1A!

This professor is okay. He likes to joke around. Reading is mandatory to do well in his class. He will quiz you on the reading so make sure you read. 5 essays, 3 vocabulary test, and some grammar quizzes. Follow all his instruction and you will get a satisfied grade. Good luck

He is nice, but unfortunately I don't feel I have learned anything. He does NOT lecture at all. His classes are based on tests, which is pointless. He is not aware that some students came to ENGL100 directly based on a placement test. Some of us are pretty lost in terms of writing essays. We need a lecture in order to prepare ENGL 1A! :(

this teacher is funny as hell you will enjoy your time in his class no doubt. i took him for 100 his grading is not to tough but not to strict. i recommend him. when he assigns a reading trust just read it he will quiz you on it the quiz is only a question or two.

Honestly, best class I've taken at PCC! Awesome people&prof! There are 5 essays, multiple readings from prose reader, 9 vocab tests,&grammar exercises&tests. It's a lot, but seriously, EASY CLASS! Take him. Don't forget to do the extra credit that's turned in every week & be prepared for his dirty jokes.

people who say he's hard are lazy, his class isn't hard at all. i think he's the easiest/fun eng prof out there. just make sure to read the novel he assigns, its about a chapter a week. after reading he'll assign a reponse to each chapter. no midterm, gives plenty of extra credit, easy vocab test and the final has no right or wrong answer.take him!

He is a super easy prof for 1A.He is very clear and helpful, you ll learn alot in his class. The responses are fairly easy, just write down whatever in ur mind n ull be fine( they are based on the book you read). The vocab tests are not hard at all, what u need to do is working hard and enjoy ur class. Good Luck to everyone!

The only tests were vocabulary based, and were from the novel he makes you read and were easy. No midterm and the final essay is fairly straightforward. He is fair in his grading, just make sure you read what he assigns. He doesn't throw you any curve balls and gives you room to improvise. He is not hard at all.

Tips; 1 When writing in class assignments, write a WHOLE page. you'll get an A every time even if it's bs and you're dragging on. 2 attendance is important!!! be absent no more than 4 times or he'll drop you for sure!!! Vocab is easy. Class consists of reading the book and doing in-class assignment on reading and Vocab tests, one research essay.

wow what a breeze this guy just loves to talk. classes were supposed to be almost 3 hours usually got out in 2. He loves to see if anyone can catch his sexual undertones to his silly comments. I took the winter intersession we had 7 writing assignments eack one progressivly harder but overall a very easy class

Well, I thought he was wonderful in his way of teaching. Rather than focus entirely on Eng, he gives you insights to eclectic of information about life & places. He tries to open your mind to be well informed of things. Classes might be a bit hard but do extra credit and you'll be fine. Essays were graded quite easy.
