Read his book! Memorize it like the back of your hand and you're golden in this class. Ignore the textbook by Pluta and just memorize his book. ALSO, super important!!!! If he tells the class to do a homework assignment, do it! He doesn't take off points for not doing it, but it is extremely helpful for his test questions and he gives extra credit

Bucco is an interestingly fantastic instructor. He's a wealth of knowledge. Sure, he's a bit strict but clearly defines his reasonable rules and expectations. His east coast brashness is endearing as much as it is off-putting. I would take his class again in a second. Show up. Pay attention. Study/review the notes. There's your magic formula.

Dr. Bucco is a great teacher of economics! He keeps your attention, sometimes yells with his stories of NY. Cool guy but WAY too cocky and brings up his personal life, degrees, etc too much. Great class for a good understanding of the material, but the "textbook" is a joke.. it's his own $100 study guide in comic sans 16 font. I mean .. c'mon.

Everybody at St. Ed's hates Culf classes but Bucco made the class interesting. I also had him for econ and the man just has it. I just can't get enough of him. Make sure you read the syllabus and put away your cell phones. Oh God! He won't think twice of calling you out.

I love this guy. Great lectures and knows the material like the back of his hand. When students try to get over on him he rips them to pieces and it is funny as hell. The guy is down to earth and knows when he is lied to.

Great command over both history and economics. I really looked forward to going to class however many of the students were sad. I felt sorry for Bucco. He really cares but students don't listen to him. He told one girl five times to pay attention to the movie. One other girl came in late everyday, The class was a bunch of losers.

Bucco started this class by telling everyone that he did not want to teach it at all. Easy, class just copy the notes but he rants about New York and tells you constantly of all his degrees, even though he is commonly wrong. When he is called on his mistakes he just becomes even angrier. Will never take him again.

Great Prof!!! He explains everything crystal clear and keeps his lectures funny with his crazy stories about his home state New York. STUDY YOUR NOTES EVERY NIGHT LIKE HE TELLS YOU TO!!! if you don't study, you wont do well. The course is fun, but if you get too comfortable, and you'll fall behind. not many grades. 4 tests, midterm and final.

I took Macro. I don't care for Bucco as a person but he is good at keeping your attention (so good that if he finds your mind wandering that he will call you out). Don't bother reading the book unless you are trying to impress him. Just study the notes and memorize the study guide and you will do fine.

There are some good teachers, many bad teachers, and then there is Dr. Bucco. You have not experienced college until you taken him. I can't say enough. AFter taking 7 economics classes now I understand the material. Why? Because of Bucco. What took hours with other professors takes 5 minutes with Bucco teaching it. What more could you ask for!!

i go to st. ed's, but purposely waited to take micro and micro in the summer at acc just so that i could take them w/ him. both courses require you to study, but he makes it so easy for everyone to understand the subject. he's hilarious, and cool as****. he's one of the best professors out there. i would definetly take him for another class.
