He is really good professor. i usually hate history related class but i actually found his class somewhat interesting. You have tons of tests but if you study they are super easy.

Easy class if you pay attention and study. I think his tests are easier in the beginning and get harder towards the end. I got a B but i didn't put too much effort into it. His tests are mostly 10 or so questions. About 5 multiple choice, about 5 fill in blank and then do a summary on a topic he chose.

Waugh is a nice teacher. As long as you study for notes he gives you, you will do good on the tests. This class is all about his PowerPoint's so pay attention to them. I didn't think I would like this course as much as I did! The only thing is he told us to buy the book and I didn't use it all semester and passed with an A!

He's an OK teacher to be teaching honors. His class was boring (Quizzes and essays every week) 3 multiple choice exams, including the final. Only uses power points, just study those, the essay questions and the key terms in the papers he gives out. His teaching method is so boring compare to Dr. Ball's lectures.

AWESOME TEACHER! He has so so much interesting information about his travels around the world. His Asian Humanities class has been so enjoyable. I don't even mind that it is at 8am!

Great professor ! Always available if you need help or retake a quiz. No big essay, just a small one at each quiz. Quizzes are really easy and he reviews the slides just before the quiz. Tests are a little bit harder and require that you study the questionnaires and do some work with the book. He makes the class interesting. Will take him again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. As long as you answer his study guide questions and study them then you will do well in this course. he is funny and extremely knowledgeable about Asia's history and art. He has opened my eyes to a whole new world and I thank him for it. I recommend this teacher for your humanities requirement.

Dr. Waugh is a great professor, I would recommend him to anyone. Some of the information is difficult to understand (when it comes to foreign names) but if you study and listen to his lectures, its not that hard. This guy really knows what he's doing.

Very easy class/professor. Study the powerpoints & read the book. If you do this you will have all the info you need to pass the quizzes/exams with an A. Study as you go and the Final is nothing new. Professor Waugh made prehistory very interesting & adds very cool insight. I plan to travel to these places in the future!!

His carefree style will irritate detail-oriented students. This is typical of humanities profs, as they burn out after one semester. Simply re-write the review sheets with terms as answers and descriptions as questions. Take notes to get material for the in-class essays. Ignore his inconsistency and lack of professional rigor, and you'll do fine.

You can not go wrong with Dr. Waugh. He is to the point and explains what to do in his class. He gives you the study guides, power points are online, and he reviews them all. Tests are straight from the study guide. I am taking him again in the spring 2013 for Asian Humanities. Easy A. TAKE HIM you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful teacher. He's funny and lets you know exactly what he wants for his quizzes/tests so there is no reason for you to get less than an A. STUDY the power points and you will do fine. He even gives a review right before he hands out the exams! Highly recommend this teacher and this class.

This teacher is AMAZING! His class is very easy&u will learn ALOT!Book isn't needed. He is very sweet&funny.ALL is in PP,u do have to study&u can't slack off. There is a quiz&test like all the time so it is challenging at times but GREAT!This was my fav CLASS&TEACHER!

This teacher is AWESOME!! He is a sweet guy and I love his lectures. He teaches from PowerPoint and he puts all of them online so you can review them at home. Such an easy class. I have learned A LOT!! He even goes over the PowerPoints right before the quizzes. If you don't get an A you're not doing something right.

Excellent teacher. You DO NOT need the book. There is an essay question on the test, but nothing hard. Very simple essay. Power points are posted online, just review them before the test. He will review with you the same day of the test :) at least he does that in the summer. Take him, you will not regret it!
