Comment:
Prof. Wible is really nice man who is clearly very knowledgable about the material and cares about his students and sharing his knowledge. He sometimes goes off down unrelated paths, and the tests are an unusal style but it is possible to do really well easily through reading the chapters and a little studying.

Comment:
I had Honors Macro and he was the worst teacher I have ever had. His awful handwriting makes the notes impossible to read, he loves to talk about unrelated subjects that are barely relevant, and he misinterprets or avoids answering every question the class asked. Grading seems random and arbitrary. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES

Comment:
james is vey enthusiastic about the stuff he is teaching but almost impossible to follow. his exams are pretty difficult because you are expected you're given no direction on what is important to know. we barely went over some of the chapters that were on the final exam. 90% exams and 10% HW and quizzes is no good. it was a very self taught class

Awful professor. Awful class. Class structure is challenging and makes little to no sense. Lectures are entirely unhelpful. Never take a class instructed by Jim Wible.

Comment:
This guy is a joke. The worst professor that I had in my life. I don't believe that he understands macroeconomics because he cannot even answer a question properly. All he cares is how neat you write and label things but nothing related to content. He can be a good proofreader but not a professor of economics. His grading is not consistent as well.

Expects you to go to class and take notes, If you do and stay up to date on the readings you should be fine. Take advantage of TA's office hours before the exams. Good luck with the handwriting...

This guy is most likely the worst Econ teacher. He sounds like he knows what he is talking about, but it seems he barely makes an effort to help the students understand what he's saying. He does only count your 5 highest quiz grades, but all the quizzes are equally as hard, so not a big help. It might help a lot if you can decipher his notes.

Ok teacher. You MUST attend class though to get notes. Tests are ok if you study. Tests are MC, short answers, and long essay based on notes, textbook readings, and news articles.

Horrible teacher! As a Freshmen he is by far the worst teacher i have had. Awful lectures, and you cannot read his handwriting. Arrogant and rude. All grades are based on quizzes and tests. He makes the rules up as he goes, so you never know what to expect from him. Will never ever go back to an Economics class by James Wible!!

Horrible! Teacher was so boring and hand writing is chicken scratch and is hardly legible. You will be better off teaching yourself the text book because the teacher is useless!
