The first week of class - better known to be syllabus week - Dr. Lacy is the sweetest teacher ever. Slowly after the first week, he turns into the meanest teacher ever.

I took dynamics 7 years ago. I worked, earned a B, graduated, and will be finishing my next step in May with a PharmD. Dr. Lacy is brilliant, but he has no place in 100 level courses. It's not about growing up or learning to buckle down; its just unnecessary stress. Other's can teach you the same material as effectively, but without the trauma.

He is a very hard professor however he is very helpful and he will not fail you if you try your hardest. He is a very smart human and finds it difficult to explain things at a dumb level but he will try his hardest to make you understand. You have definitely have to earn your grade.

He is a horrible professor. If you go to office hours, he is relatively nice, but in class he's a real jerk. He teaches you the bare minimum of stuff and gives you questions on assignments and quizzes that are ten times as difficult. Avoid at all costs!

Dr. Lacy is extreamly unprofessional and should not be teaching. He is very smart but cannot get his ideas across and takes it out on his students. He likes to swear and scream in class. He is rarely in his office for office hours. Beware

Indeed, Lacy knows his****. You would if you taught the same subject for over 20 years. I have had many negative experiences with the man: he is biased professor; choosing who he would want to help over others. He can teach, but he needs to contain his temper and loose his attitude. Take him if you are chem major; great prep for grad school.

i will say he knows his stuff to begin this, however, if i had my Ph. D I would know my stuff as well. lacy is not helpful, and is a downright cold individual who hates the world. His homework WILL take you 3.5 hours a night, and YOU WILL get a 3 out of 5. His exams are really based around 'applying' everything you know. unless you already know the

i took him for bonding and didnt like him, i had to take him for dynamics lab and thought he might be better in lab, but i was wrong. he flips out for no real reason, hes not helpful, doesnt answer your questions, doesnt explain things, i would avoid him
