Worst teacher ive ever experienced in my time at rider. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IM WARNING YOU. Our class avg was 58 which is below passing. She doesnt help you at all, you cant understand her and i can keep going on and on

Phew. Thats all I can say. Took a while to understand what was going on in this course. Effort is definitely needed on the students behalf. Be motivated and ready to self-teach. Be willing to ask classmates for help. I was about to drop the class. Glad I didnt.

Dr. Ding is the worst teacher I have ever had. She teaches the content, but no one can understand her. When you ask her a question, she gets the deer in headlights look and can't help clarify your question. The StatLab work doesn't match up to her lectures so you are basically going to have to teach yourself. Save your GPA and don't take her class.

Avoid taking this professor at ALL costs. She doesnt help you at all when you ask her questions about homework or test/ quiz material. She doesnt respond back to any emails you send her. When you ask her a question in class she gets this "deer is headlights look" and she cant explain anything.

by far the worst professor I've ever taken at RU. She assigned all the tests on MyStatLab with no margin of error. She curves a lot so It's easy to pass but it is not a fun class in any means.

It was by the magnificent grace of God why I passed this class. She can't teach, there are no power points on canvas (you have to pay for a booklet with the power point that are half finished so you need to fill in what is missing), you have to basically teach yourself and the online quizzes and online homework don't correlate with the tests.

Please don't you'll really regret it has to be one of the worst teachers currently in existence. Your just going to waste your money because your either going to drop it or fail. About 80% of the class drops out in the first 2 weeks, its ridiculous.

Do not, I REAPEAT do not take this lady she is awful. Do not get fooled by the easy homework and quizzes. The test will be completely different. You will fail and end up having to tale the class again.

Who gives a group project in an online class? Also you need to teach yourself a lot of the material since none is provided for you. Need extra credit? Forget about it and cry. Save your tears and anxiety and take a different professor.

This was the hardest class I have ever taken and taking it online probably didn't help. The other students would beg her for help and she would only do online conferences that were of no help. You have to buy some form of the book if you're taking it online. I know this class is a requirement for a lot of students but if you don't have to don't.

Hardest math class I have ever taken. If you skip one class u might as well not show up for the remaining semester because you are gonna be behind and she won't really help. It's also very hard to understand her because of her accent. Her tests are also unbelievably hard. She also takes class time to change all her mistakes on her power points.

Save yourself and do not take her. You can tell she is very smart and she personally knows the material but is absolutely clueless on how to teach (not to mention English is a barrier for her). If she didn't take attendance I would say you might as well stay home and teach yourself the material and just do the online work and show up for tests.

Took her for Stat 2 online and it was awful. She barely ever responded back to my emails. She took a week vacation without internet access during the span o of the course. Tests do not represent the homework material. Do not take her ever, save yourself, save your money.

Took her class online in the summer to catch up and it is by far the worst thing I've ever done. She went away and "had no internet access" for a week so there was no help there. She says stuff is posted on canvas and it is not there and the online tests are impossible. Don't do this to yourself because it will be a decision you regret.

This class shouldn't have been this difficult but it was. Her accent is really thick and she has a hard time explaining concepts in class. If you ask a question, she gets this deer-in-the-headlights look and doesn't know how to respond. You can miss up to 5 classes with no penalty, but I suggest going to class. I would not take this class again.

If you absolutely have to take this class like I did, I'm sorry. Somehow by the grace of God i pulled out an A-. Mostly by asking kids from previous classes what was on the exam. Impossible to understand. Incredibly thick accent. Homework is online. Only good part about this class is that she offers an extra credit quiz at the end.

Worst professor I've had by far, She doesn't prepare you for the exams in any way and when you ask a question, she's a deer in headlights. Through the year, you learn nothing in her class and what ever you learn, are through the home work and that sucks because the home work, in no way prepares you for the exams. Horrible experience, your last opt.
