John is the best professor I have ever had. I first took a class with John in 2012 and throughout my academic career, John supported me in many ways, (helping me edit papers, writing a recommendation letter). I wish all professors could be like John. He cares so much about his students and wants to see everyone succeed.

If your looking for a potential mentor through out college this is him. Don't expect the class to be too easy, but Mr. Benvenuto is very helpful and fair. His work load is lightish, just be ready to write in an English class. He likes people, and may get in your face when taking to you, but he means well. He is a good teacher to pass, hard for an A

He is all over the place and rarely stays on topic. I did four drafts on a paper, two of which he edited and told me it was awesome but then gave me a C on the assignment. There are so many other professors who teach this course and I would recommend taking it with one of them instead.

This man is the greatest man to walk the green here at WSU. He lets you rewrites papers and the class is very relaxed. Not only will he learn your name and say hi to you in the hallways, but 2 years later and he still asks me how I am. You'll regret not taking this class.

Professor Benvenuto, or as he prefers John, is the bees knees. He walks around class holding his harms in a very uncomfortable manner much like a t-rex, he gets in your face when he talks about something witch ends up being comedy, and every paper you write can be re-written as many times as you want to get an A... More laughs then things learned.

John Benvenuto is the best teacher I have ever had! John is a very personable guy, and he will give you many opportunities to improve your grade. If you ever need help with anything he will meet you before or after the class is finished to assist you. Excellent teacher! Very helpful! Easy A! Take John for 101 if the class has openings!!!!

Great guy. Very friendly and helpful. I think he is retired though? Haven't seen him in the English Dept. Work can sometimes be 'busy' but it's expected in any upper level English classes. Can be very loud and in your face.

He's one of the best--if not the best--professors at WSC. If not for him, Profs. King (math), Steinburg (PoliSci), Tetrault, and a very small handful of others professors, my college experience would have been very poor, indeed. An avid Jazz lover! Make sure you take a class with him; if you don't, you'll miss out on a great experience!

this guy is a ****. he is loud, often spits, sprints around the room and gets allll up in ur face. he is an amazing teacher. he lets you hand stuff in at anytime, gives breaks and grades honest and fair. anyone who dislikes this dood should not attend college. he is fun and enjoyable, in and out of class. ill let him teach me andthing.
