Comment:

Easy class to be in, not so much with the online quizzes (5 of them). The questions are difficult for a HIST1040 course. I took this class purely for credit as a senior, so I already had taken 3 history classes prior. His material seems easy on the surface, but the quiz questions are extremely specific. Condescending and rude attitude sometimes.

Prof. Bone really knows his stuff and he is always willing to answer questions clearly. All quizzes are online. One 4 page essay. Open notes final. You'll need the textbook to do the essay, but don't really need it for class. He assigns readings which you must read before class in order to participate.

A professor who is dedicated to his job. He interest is definitely history. Lectures are long and boring. You are only allowed to miss 3 times unexcused. All 5 quizzes are online and on quizlet. Final is open book/open note, but is tough. One 4 page paper is due mid-semester.

Great professor and the class is very easy to understand especially for an online class. Weekly discussion, quiz, and final project (lesson plan). If you do what your supposed to and on time there is no reason you should not get a good grade in this class. He is very helpful and I highly recommend this class.

Dr. Bone is honestly the best professor at Willy P! He is funny, his lectures are interesting, and he offers an array of extra help and consultation. Only three main 5 page papers and an annotated bibliography; he is a very fair grader. Take his classes you won't be sorry!!

Pretty easy professor for this course. Took this class in the summer. He posts discussions every week online and provides the reading/s for each. For every unit there's probably 20 question multiple choice quiz. There's a 5 page final essay. Be sure to comment on classmates disscusion to recieve 10/10 grades. Failed his class but I Recommend him.

Pofessor Bone is so helpful I picked up the class on the deadline and had basically missed two weeks. He let me catch up to speed and always had great constructive criticism if you do the work and apply yourself you will do fine. Great Professor

Bone is an amazing professor. He never has a midterm of final but instead only expects three papers. His class sessions are mostly based on power points but he makes the class interesting. Also he does not use any textbooks which makes the class easier. If you are looking for a good history class I would definitely take Bone!

All I can say is wow!!! I had this professor for two summer History courses at the same time, so as you can imagine it was lost of work and attentiveness to time management. This professor is by far the most understand and clear on objectives that I've seen in all my time being a student. Would def take him again. Follow syllabus and thats all.

This man deserves an award! He is great he keeps the class interesting so you aren't falling asleep, and he is pretty funny as well. Three papers one in the beginning and then a mid term and a final on the assigned readings . He is ALWAYS available for help and you can tell he really loves his job :)

Online course. Prof. Bone is clear in what he expects and is approachable and helpful. Do the work that he asks of you and you will get a good grade. This class involved one text, and posting to online discussions each week plus a lesson plan for a week of teaching. He is great at answering emails (crucial to an online course).

Prof Bone is knowledgeable,helpful & approachable. Keep up with the work as it is assigned so that you aren't playing catch-up at the end of the semester. Professor Bone is a great professor, definitely one of the best in William Paterson's history department. He really tries to make class as fun and interesting as possible for all his students. You can tell he really, truly cares about his students. His assignments are pretty easy, and he encourages his students to come to him for extra help.

Excellent professor, one of the best at WP. He gets straight to the point and the information is useful. He does not have long side-assignments or anything unnecessary for this course like some other professors. The class really does help clarify what has to be done for your thesis. Don't take 501 unless its with Bone.

funny dude. online quizzes are open book, but kinda confusing. if you go to class and take his notes, you should at least get a B. if you do the sources, you're guranteed an A, although they are a pain in the butt.
