Even though class attendance doesn't count, you NEED to go to class to pass this class or have a friend who takes notes. He doesn't post any lecture slides but his tests are comprised of half lecture material and half textbook readings. The textbook readings aren't long but he doesn't go over the textbook reading in class.

Graded based off 7 exams. (30 Q's in 35 min). If you normally take your time on exams then this class isn't for you. He gives 50 points extra credit so you have a buffer from the beginning of the course. Exams based off lecture videos and readings. Overall it is an easy course just put in the effort. Online Course!

First C I have ever received and hardest class I have ever taken. Do not recommend. Lectures are boring and difficult to follow at times and exams make up the entire grade.

There is no final, the whole class is graded on in-class exams every 2 weeks comprised of questions from the book and lecture. You have to listen and write good notes in class, but he is so passionate and enthusiastic about the course that it is interesting to listen to. Learned a lot, but def not an easy A!

He does not grade with + or -. I Had a 89% and received a B. His tests are 35 minutes for 30 questions. It is not enough time given that they are covering the lecture and the 4 book chapters. Good luck if you take him.

The exams were 30 questions and you are only given 35 minutes. You must have the material from the text book memorized to the T, as well as the 3 30-40 minute videos. Not only that, but you must full understand the concepts and terms in real life scenarios. He does not add plus or minus to the grade. So my B+ was a B. Goodbye 4.0 GPA.

Lectures are long. Make sure you spend time watching the lecture videos as many times as possible before each exam. It's not an easy A course, you need to pay for the effort to earn A. Grading based on seven exams, and the grading system is A, B, C. No + or -

Honestly not as hard as people say. Only 7 exams, that's it. Make sure you read the textbook and look over lecture notes and you will do fine on exams. Only hard if you wait last minute to read the textbook pages for the exam, so start a week before. Exams are only 30 questions (15 book 15 lecture) and scored out of 150. Learned a lot in this class

My grade in this class could have been an A had he not waited to give us transcripts of his online lectures until the last 3 tests. After 4 bombed tests and struggling to figure out why, that little change made my tests go from D's to A's. If you take him request the transcripts for the videos at the very beginning. Be aware he is a boring lecturer

There are only 7 tests the whole semester. Some students asked if the tests were open book, which caused him to change the exams to require Respondus Lockdown with a webcam, even though these requirements were not mentioned in the syllabus at all. His study guides and Launchpad are useless. Overall hating this class, goodbye 4.0.

I'm actually in a position where I must work closely with this professor, and matching many of the other student's feedback he is regularly disrespectful, condescending, and just generally difficult to work with. Would highly recommend skipping his courses if you value having a positive learning environment.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. This online class is only made up of 7 exams and that is it. I literally color coordinate my notes after both watching the lectures and reading EVERY SINGLE WORD of the text he tells us to and yet I still can't pass a test. Many students emailed him complaining and his response pretty much said "boo hoo do better".

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR! Will provide some guidance if you ask for it. After consistently doing well, I was shocked that he decided that only the last two tests matter. NOT EVEN THE BEST TWO, JUST THE LAST TWO TESTS. Class is comprised only of 6 exams ( online ). Hard work does not pay off!

Up until the end of the class I had formed a deep respect for this professor. Found that his tests were of a difficult level and that if the work was put forth, then good grades were achieved. As the previous student mentioned below, I had also received a disrespectful and demeaning response to one of his emails.

He thinks his class should be the end all be all of your life, and obviously does not feel care for his students when they have any sort of issue in their life. Don't take his class if you may have any serious life/personal issues AT ALL, he doesn't care which is fine but being disrespectful about it isn't.

I had a ton of coffee today so as I'm lying in my bed trying to fall asleep and I can't -homework time. This week was on Moral Development. I took so many notes and was completely intrigued the whole time. He'll slip in jokes and he's very dry, but smart. I love the class structure - we have 7 tests and that's IT. highly recommend if you test well.

I found the lectures to be very thought-provoking. Sure the material is pretty heavy on internal trade lingo in some areas, but the man is extremely passionate about the subject, and very knowledgeable. The readings can be long sometimes, but hey that's the deal-io, right? As someone else mentioned, make sure you take good notes; all's fair game.

Took this class online so never had any contact with the professor. The class involves a lot of reading and really good note taking to pass. 7 exams, one every other week mostly on the textbook and a little bit on lectures. As long as you do all the reading and take a lot of notes you will be fine.
