Took him for Econometrics at UNLV. He truly cares that students pass and does curve pretty heavily. If he sees you're making a genuine effort to learn the material, you'll be fine. He's available outside of class hours and responds to emails promptly. Don't be afraid to email him about the homework, he will usually just give you the answer!

I took this class online, which is the only option or at least at this time. The material is somewhat interesting but listening to them over videos is painful. It's really hard to motivate yourself to want to listen and focus (I normally don't have this problem).

I hate economics, but pulled a B. He gives incentive to do well, but if you are having trouble with the class then you will have a lot more work to do. Classes are online making it easy to want to skip. DON'T. Do the homework and study that... MANY test questions come from there.

Pretty cool guy, but tends to talk in circles. The class discussion tends to only be half lecture, and the rest is personal talking.

Principles of Macroecon with Dr. Crooker was EASY if you only put forth half effort. He puts up three multiple choice quizzes before each class and if you pass you don't have to go to class and he counts you as being there. Homework on blackboard where you get 8 attempts on mult. choice questions. Nice guy, tests aren't bad either. GREAT CLASS!

This was definitely a difficult class. His explanations in class were boring but he provides a lot of alternative resources like the textbook and web lectures on blackboard which are very helpful. Nevertheless, you will need to study very hard to ace this class

Only 4 tests per semester that might as well be written in another language. Hard to follow in class. Even harder to meet up with outside of class. This was my 2nd time taking a course with him, never again!!! I've heard Kim Andrews teaches much better.

This professors class is mad hard guys. I liked econ till I got in his summer session class. The man has a very monotone voice and it just makes you want to go to sleep. He really is a nice guy outside of class that is. I thought that he'd be a great teacher, but boy was I off my rocker. This dude actually gave us a test that we had no idea was

This teacher is not a helpful teacher and does not having a willingness for you to get a good a grade. If you ask for help he's a complete jerk! His lectures are like reading WINGDINGS font on the computer and his tests' SUCK. Don't take the class...take it with Kim Andrews she's awsome.

[comments are for a six week summer couse] He needs to take a public speaking class badly. While he knows a lot about his subject, he needs to learn how to communicate what he knows more effectively. His tests are difficult, and he'll put multiple right answers on them and expect you to find the right one. Personally though, he's a nice guy.

One word that you will be able to identify him with by the end of the class is RIGHT, the man says it all the time, got to be very annoying. His test's are hard, but take advantage of the retakes when you do the final if you screwed up the first two tests.

Dr.Crooker is a teacher that enjoys the subject he teaches; therfore, he knows a lot about it. I believe that if you approach the class willing to study and pay attention in class, then you will learn a lot of important things. If you have this attitude, you'll do better on his tests also.
