Great Syllabus! He will make you travel back in time and allow you to experience how life was. He is very detailed and very passionate on what he does. He gave me a better understanding on why our world came to such, If you want to know your history take his classes.

Comment:

Didn't care if one was late with assignments. Way too many papers though. Minimum of 1 to 4 papers a week with two quizzes a week. On top of that, the many long readings which is needed in order to do a good job on the quizzes. At least if you miss a quiz, he'll point you in the directions of the chair to unlock those quizzes for you to finish.

This class will make you work. It moves very fast and it is easy to get confused and lost. His lectures are very boring and he sounds and looks like Hebert from Family Guy. You'll have two essays a week and a quiz a week. If you do your work you'll pass, but it is difficult. I recommend avoiding this professor.

I think most of the other students were a bit unfair in their grades. Yes, there is a lot of reading, but this is a high level class for History/Liberal Studies majors who should be interested in the material. He is very knowledgeable. He does seemingly have strong liberal opinions about the Middle East, but does not force it down your throat.

Terrible Professor. Do not take this class online. Very unclear as to what you are supposed to do. Very little instruction, confusing dates as to when to submit papers tests get posted out of no where and have very little time to do them. Gives no feedback even when asked

This was my worst class ever as a freshmen student!!! The class was hybrid , so we only met up once a week! He would just rant and rant to himself for an hour and 15 mins! I don't recommend him! Had about 4 quizzes, 5 exams , An essay every week, including three essays for each exam! Blackboard is his best friend! Oh, AND YOU HAVE TO MAIL THE FINAL

He is the most boring professorteacher I have ever had. He babbles about so much things. His facts are sometimes wrong and he loves the Chinese, Latin, and Muslim civilizations. He bores you to death but if u take notes you will do well cuz thats whats on his quizzes. He really is vague on ALL assignments and readings. GOOD LUCK. I DON'T RECOMMEND

SOO much reading. took him online and i spent my entire spring break doing his midterm. multiple choice, id's, and 2 essays, each 5 pages! same for final except 3 essays. there is no structure or due dates for anything on the syllabus...oh yeah and a 15 page paper for a 300 level course! DO NOT TAKE HIM! too much work for a good grade.

Worst professor I have ever had. Regardless of course content. There is absolutely no structure to his lectures, he literally rambles on in a very meek almost inaudible voice. YOU MUST TAKE NOTES during his rambling or you will not remember anything. His tests Qs are too complicated for a 101 course. 1 paper due each week, quiz each class period.

I am a history Major and Id like to warn anyone who will listen. DO NOT TAKE HIM. Horrible teacher. Teaches as if you know everything there is about Islam and grades hard.
