Doesn' have anything planned out for his classes and just talks about himself all the time. Im sure he'd be a good contact if you want to get into organization development but most ppl are here for the credit and he doesn't get that. Jay gets really annoyed when ppl dont come to class but he doesn't teach anything useful anyways.

I got a 92% - do your textbook readings and take notes in a doc so you don't let your team down in the weekly group assignments, and then you can ctrl+f for the quizzes. For the open book final, bookmark which parts of the textbook were used for the weekly group assignments, and then merge the study guides into one document, it's all you'll need.

Avoid this professor if you can. The instructions he provides for the weekly group assignments are way too vague. His lectures were pretty boring. The textbook is very wordy, but manageable. The final was pretty straightforward as you just have to apply what you've learned. The course itself seems easy to get a decent mark in.

Interesting way of teaching. 20-30 min podcast lectures done outside of class. Weekly quizzes. Classtime spent on group projects based on textbook chapter. Projects can be frustratingly confusing about what you're asked to do and how much work you need to put in but markers are pretty easy-going.

Worst class ever. Prof gave assignments at the end of each class worth 1% each and honestly expected us to stay for an hour to complete them. And they're marked on a "present or absent" basis. What a joke. Also tried to make us do his work for him. He was terrible. Literally the worst prof I've ever had at UW, and I'm in my fourth year.

Okay, I have to admit that he's not the best "lecturer".. and the class is really boring.. but he's really helpful in terms of helping you with your learning. a very great guy who actually cares about his students and their grades.. o yeah, and he's considering in changing the course outline for next year.

The prof is nice and tries to make the course interesting.But the class is still boring, and the 10% group discussion really drives me crazy.Sometimes it takes 40mins to finish a topic, and it only worth 1%.

I was really looking forward to this class, but turns out it was extremely boring and pretty much useless and of no value when I attempt to apply it to the training department in which I work. They should at least try and find a "good" trainer to try and teach about training.

You'd think a psych teacher would have an idea of what captures students attention. The MOST boring lectures I've ever sat through, as he simply repeats what's written in the text only really SLOWLY. His humour meets only with grimaces.
