The only homework that's assigned for the entire course are two book journals and an essay. You don't need to take notes, since he posts the notes online. However, if you don't really study the online notes, you'll fail the exams . If you have discipline and don't procrastinate, you'll be fine.

This guy was completely disorganized. It was never straight forward. He just made the material so much harder.

I don't know how he became a professor. He can't spell, there are grammatical errors all over the place, his quizzes always have wrong answers, his exams are a mess with questions that also have incorrect answers and he never responds to emails about these errors. He's "difficult" because he grades you wrong so it's impossible to win here.

I'm currently taking his online class for Summer Semester 2019. Do not take an online class by him. He has made several grading errors and his quiz answers are constantly incorrect. Takes multiple emails before he finally responds and fixes things. His Q&As have multiple grammatical and spelling errors. I think the class would be better in person.

Took this class at FC. Basically, your whole grade is based on exams. You could show up for those exams and you would do just fine. The study guides are your exams, just a lot information to memorize. We don't use the textbooks so don't bother buying it. He is passionate about what he teaches. No homework except one paper.

He is nice. Very dependent on YouTube. Attendance doesnt matter. Just show up to the 4 exams. Gives you 14+ Pdfs files worth of questions and answer with more than 2 pages each. it is a lot!! (Maybe 350ish questions on the study guide) & 50 on the actual exam. One final paper about anything you learned in class. Sometimes gives you EC.

Prof. Conti is always ready to teach a great class. You can tell that he is passionate and knowledgeable about the material and does his best to help students understand the main concept. He gives clear and thought provoking examples and is always ready to answer a students question. He provides a great environment to study religion. RLST 306 &110

Literally no idea why this man is called a prof. He may know a lot about transcendental meditation (the mantra of the class is: I'm obsessed with meditation! Even though I'm a spaz and not peaceful!) ), but his lectures are all over the place. Can't follow it. Doesn't teach anything that's on the exams. Also, he's youtube obsessed. Lame class.

He's very intense in his lectures but it shows that he's passionate and knows what he's talking about. Don't worry, he's a professor, not a preacher, so in his religious classes he won't force anything down your throat. The key to success in his class is the Q&As he posts online. Study those and you will pass the class. No need for the textbook.

I really enjoyed his class! He is very passionate about the subject and it shows, he seems like a really cool and genuine guy. He reminds me of a hippie thats why i payed even more attention in class because he talked about how he was really young when he got into spirituality! Also the book he assigned "Be here now" was amazing!

Makes you buy all these books that I did not even touch. Lectures are just weird, he rambles on and on about the most random things. Went on and on about how easy the exams are, but they turned out being pretty difficult. He knows a lot of info about the material, but just is not very good at getting his point across and kinda scatter-brained.

Dr. Conti is a very passionate professor and a kind human being. His class on Hinduism was interesting and it was enjoyable to explore various topics related to Hinduism as a class with Dr. Conti guiding us along. Dr. Conti is very knowledgable about religion and philosophy and is very respectful of everyone's ideas.

Be prepared to teach yourself. Professor Conti seems like a great guy he obviously knows his material if you ask him a direct question he will give you a detailed answer. However, he isn't very good at teaching the material. Grades are based on 3 major exams and one essay. Everything is based on his Q &A notes. Memorization, not comprehension.

Easy class. Can miss 6 classes with no explanation. he rambles a lot and goes off topic a lot also very unorganized. Overall, super nice guy, really cares about philosophy and gets so excited about it. two books were required but only used A of Yogi. for my final grade, he accidentally gave me an F and i had to keep emailing him to change it

Professor Conti is super passionate about what he teaches, which can also lead him to getting off track and talking about things unrelated to the curriculum. Barely went to class as he allows you to miss 6 class meetings excuse-free. Very chill, you definitely don't need to buy the book. An easy passing grade as long as you review the study guides.

Professor Conti is a bit absent minded, but he's very understanding! He brings up a lot of interesting topics in religion that aren't really obvious to the common person. Tests are based on his Q & A's which are basically study guides he compiles. Study those for the midterm and you are sure to pass.

This was probably the EASIEST class I have ever taken at Fullerton!! All you have to do is study the Q&As and you'll be fine on the exams! He does tend to ramble a bit during his lectures though. But if you're interested in learning a bit more about a few religions, and don't want to do any work, you should DEFINITEY take him!
