Great Spanish Teacher! I didn't do so hot in her class but if you are trying she will give you a D or C. Even if you did so badly on tests, she sees effort in her students! homeworks are given every other day, tests are every other week. Study Study!

Professor Tarsia is very kind and works hard to help students enhance their knowledge of the Spanish language and culture. There's homework every class and a test every two weeks but both are very simple. Take notes, read the textbook, and do the homework from the workbook and you'll succeed!

Professor Tarsia was a fantastic professor. She is so sweet and really wants you to succeed in her class. Exams are very reasonable, but it is necessary to study and review the material. Homework is due at the beginning of every class but it is not too much. Overall, an amazing professor and I highly recommend taking her class. Just awesome!!!!!!!

I took spanish in high school and I did bad every year and didn't understand anything. Tarsia saved me. For the first time I understand some of Spanish and I am doing very well in class. She is very nice. She give homework every night. It isn't a lot at all, and if you do it every night, you will do well on the tests and it will boost your grade.

Best professor I have ever had. She welcomes questions and is more than helpful to her students in answering any questions. Will do anything for you, and if you ever need help, you can see her during office hours, or even make an appointment. She is the most helpful prof. If you can, take her.

I had to take a language so I took Tarsia because she seemed to be the best language prof. Wasn't wrong. Material is hard, but what do you expect? She is a great teacher, really drives the info in, and always answers my email questions quickly. If you need a language, take her. Textbook is used daily and has hw in it. Just buy the online version.

It was tough, a TON of new information every day. Excellent teacher, explains clearly, upbeat, and a GENEROUS grader who doesn't nit-pick ( get chapter info right, she wont deduct for other grammarspell errors). Her class and grading is EXACTLY as syllabus. I learned a TON, worked HARD. GREAT prof, Not an easy A. Recommended for real learning

she's so nice and funny. she makes class enjoyable! she's by far the best foreign language teacher. i HIGHLY recommend you buy the textbooks though (costs around 210$) cause you use it everyday and have hw in it.

I took 4 semesters of Italian. She is a really good teacher. She has a high energy level and keeps the material interesting. Her tests are fair and she tells you what to study. The ones who do not do that well usually haven't bought the book.

She is honestly the BEST language professor you will ever have. I have always hated foreign languages and still don't see the necessity but if it is required you MUST take her. She makes the class easy to understand and loves to teach. She is a real sweetheart who wants all of her students to learn. Put in the effort and you will do fine

She taught me Italian 101 and was one of the best language teachers I have known (and I speak several languages). She combines the text book and conversation, one reinforcing the other. She's loads of fun, especially when you do your homework and enjoy having fun while learning.
