Dr. Paul is a very interesting and entertaining lecturer. She has a great sense of humor and is very easy to follow. However, the exams are a little too hard - usually a multiple choice section, five short essays and one long essay. Not necessarily hard topics, just a lot. I took a 2000 level class but it should have been a 4000 level.

SHE'S HARD! The testing is extremely hard, format consists: MC, Short Answer, Term ID's, 1-2 Essays. To get an A/B will take you 2-3 hours, IF you finish in 60 mins or less I guarantee that u will get D/F. THE UP SIDE: You learn a SO MUCH! She is my favorite teacher ever & I hope that I can have the privilege of having her for any exit courses.

I took War and Society with her. She knows a lot about the subject and makes lectures fly by. Although she talks to fast and gives you way more to study than necessary for the test. Attendence is key. Only gave us two tests and it was mainly writing. She's not big on mult. choice. She grades a little harshly on her tests.

Gave some every interesting insights into Cold War history. Her mixture of narrative lecture, group work, and videos really helped in learning all the material. Don't expect any fancy powerpoints or graphs/charts. Dr. Paul is definitely an old school type of lecturer.

The best professor at USF! Im really going to miss this class! She is passionate and funny, 4 hours flew by super quick! Group projects which I thought I would hate at first made the entire class a big family, I made great frinds from it. The tests are alot but she grades easy, as long as you show youve done the work. love the Liverpool accent

Taking her for Modern European History II, such a great teacher. Lectures are awesome, yes the tests are hard, but if you study for like 4 hours, take notes, and read the book, you should be fine. I would recomend her as a professor and take her class again.

Great at having a lecture and really into what she is teaching. Her tests are tough as crap, I took great notes attended every class and studies my ass off only to get shafted on the 'document' part of the exam. She grades the non-scan tron portions of the test like a... nevermind

Dr. Paul is one of the greatest history professors at USF. Her lectures and interesting and her teaching style is great for keeping you awake in a three or four hour class. Very knowledgeable, and tests are not difficult if you take notes and study them. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

Maybe USF's greatest history lecturer, no lie. Her accent makes it even more fun. An intelligent and witty woman who loves history from the bottom up as they say. Her tests are tough but you definitely feel like you earned your grade.

Incredible professor. Lectures fly by; I was always exhilarated at the end of the evening. Her material is dynamic and funny. It seems that people who do not like her are those who do not like their grades, or her politics or sharp wit. Very hard but very fair grader. The best prof I have ever had.

A great teacher who teaches many of the British History classes. She is from Great Britian and knows her stuff. Very likable and friendly. She grades hard but fair, and is approachable about grades. I took 3 classes with her. Loved them all.
